Can we automate this process with Excel macro

HP ALM is most creepy tool I ever used. Imagine you need to add 200 requirements to one single test case (for administrative purposes like review reports containing not functional requirements). Mission Impossible!

Not exactly though. Use notepad ++ to organize them so that there is a star and a space between each req and then copy paste into your filter. Ctrl Alt while you manually select each req as you cross reference your doc and then use the green arrow. It's a bit of work but easy once you do it a few times.

Nice video, very helpful. Thanks! Is there any way to automatically link test cases to requirements in HP ALM? If i have, for example, Requirement ID(or similar name) field in Excel sheet for Test cases import, could HP ALM do the linking ? Thanks in advance.

Is there any way to link testcases and requirements automatically? I do use the Excel plugin to upload testcases and requirements but it looks like in both sections there is no way to also mark the referenced targets.

Please tell how to map multiple test cases to a requirement in one go. I am selecting multiple cases and when trying to map all those with a requirement... only last case is getting mapped. I do not see mapping in rest of the cases. do have any shortcut ? please update

What if I planned the same test case for execution twice, for example once for integration test and once for regression, will the requirement be covered by only one execution? Does it take the status of the planned executions or whether it was successfully executed at least once?
