HP C3010 hard disk drive - Spin up with cover open

This is an HP model C3010 hard disk drive, from circa 1992. Full height, 5.25 inch width, SCSI 50-pin interface, 10 platters, 19 heads, and a whopping 2 gigabyte capacity. 5400 RPM. Rated at around 60 watts max power draw. The case splits in half, almost like a clamshell, so you can see much more of the mechanism than is typical with most PC drives.
