Wow hp is really getting worse and worse, aside their wide touchpads another awful thing is laptop dissassemblement. Now I need to remove the ruber in order to open it and 840 g2 had just two clicks for accessing the whole motherboard

was givin one for free. i can see why when the lady took it to a pc shop. it be cheaper to buy a new one. the bracket used. seem(og ones) to have a defect in how it swing shut, then it takes for ever to dissemble this thing. then screen around 150, also it seems the display cable also seems to go a lot on this series to.

Hi, my laptop is not turning on when I press the power button and when it is on, it turns itself off and on. I think the issue is the CMOS. I'm trying to find the CMOS battery to replace it but I can't find it. Would I just replace the whole motherboard?

Nice video right here. Its the only video i have seen that gives me the detailed explanation i need. I just need a few answers from you to confirm my suspicion. So i have an hp envy x360 touchscreen and suddenly the touchscreen stopped working. The screen still displays perfectly. Initially i thought it was a driver problem then like a day later after it stopped it started working again but the moment i closed the screen and opened it again for use again it stopped completely. So i wanted to know if the touch screen cable if different from the lcd cable. Im thinking maybe the touch screen cable has disconnected somehow and if i can try to connect it without opening up the screen and opening just the back.... Sorry for the long message but could i be right?

Check if it shows up in the device manager under human interfaces or not. If not, then it's possibly a connection issue.

hey , Binh gimm'e a advice , i'mean is it good idea to use laptory vertically (i'ad asus tuf gaming , and i use it vertically sometimes(kinda 0.5 the day time ) by opening it's hinges around 140-150 deg and make it rest on one of the side bar (on the one which'ad no port's nd it's pretty thicc , so it remains stable on that ) ) !! ^^

No idea. You can test by disconnecting the battery and holding the power button 15 seconds. If the bios is reset, then it's built into the main battery, otherwise it's hidden somewhere.
