HP ENVY X360 M6 Convertible Take Apart Complete Disassembly How to disassemble

Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your HP ENVY X360 M6 Convertible laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.

My screen had double sided tape holding the screen in. I managed to remove one ok but the tape broke on the other side

I hate when it is doing so. These double sided tapes are so bad and with the time it could only get worse because they will dry up. One of the way I do if the double sided tape breaks, I use a syringe with the acetone. This you can slide into the area where the double-sided tape broke and slowly dissolve it. Beware that acetone is a flammable b it can dissolve and somewhat damage the plastic. Heating up on the other side might help too, but these tapes are not that easy to heat up to the point that you could remove it easily.

@@regazzz The syringe is a good idea. I'd need one with a needle to get it in the right spot though. I wish I knew what tape to replace it with.

@@regazzz I found some stretch-release tape with tabs. I am guessing it will work. I'm ordering. I'll be happy when I get the new back attached! (my hinge broke out, which is common for these models)

This is one of the reasons that I love HP, is in fact they had gone out of their way to make their computers brain dead easy to disassemble and or fix (especially change RAM and storage as well even with CPU if it was socketed). But with software is......frustrating at worst. They need to revamp HP Coolsense. And if possible for them to unlock advanced settings for bios. Other than that it is very solid.

Sata3 ssd drive should be good enough.

Привет, он его разобрал просто чтобы разобрать. Такие видео делаю с 2012 года, когда такие видео почти не делались. В названии видео сказано что разборка, полная или частичная. Не для ремонта, а просто для разборки. Я надеюсь что оно Вам помогло или, если нет - то Вы нашли другое видео которое оказалось полезнее. Спасибо!

Brother, do you know if HP ENVY m6 010dx laptop has Bluetooth? I have a laptop of that model but when I want to add a new Bluetooth device I get "Error cannot connect" and in Bluetooth device managers it does not appear and drivers already installed and nothing. I don't know if it doesn't have bluetooth or it could be a system error, help and thank you.

Well, according to the specs that I found on the HP website, there is a Bluetooth and I sure it is on the WiFi card. If you have the WiFi and if you can figure what exact model of the WiFi card you have, you should find driver's for Bluetooth and install it. Worst case you would need to change it with another working WiFi card. And see if it works.I wouldn't go much into physical until I will troubleshoot more drivers etc. You can also download drivers from HP website.
