imo you should definitely remove the battery Incase of electrical issue chances are 50/50

your windows 11 was installed in your old ssd, so when you change the old ssd, the new one does not have win 11 inside, you should buy it or install it for free(watermark)

Bro content was good however you were in a hurry so you did some mistakes. Before doing all this you should have first Copied the current windows to your new SSD. Then during the dissembling process don't go just touch the motherboard with the fingers like that, if u had even a slightest static electricity on your body, that may fry the motherboard. Remove the battery connection before replacing anything. Then do the upgrade. After upgrade then reconnect the battery, screw it back, turn it on. Then everything will be ok.

@@MemKlutz In my case Hp Victus 16 e0352ax 0f 2023 144 Hz i have 2 ssd slots max to 2 tb and 2 ram slots . So i got 512 GB preinstalled so i added a 1 tb ssd nvme m.2 matching the specs to my motherboard. No need to shift the Windows as i dnt require to do that.

Unfortunately, in that model it only comes with one SSD since the other one, even if you try to solder what is missing, the board will not recognize it. Researching that model is like that from the manufacturer, so if you want more space you have to replace what it has with a 1TB or 2TB I'm telling you this since I also have that laptop and I was surprised.
