I have an hp envy 6000 and it says tray is open. This seems to give some clues.

Update! I called hp and they just inspected my printer through a video call and they sent a new tray for free. Printer was still in warranty. I had just bought it 6 weeks before.

But I did what you said, when I inserted it it was positioned the same as yours but when I inserted the card compartment again it keeps giving me the orange light, what should I do?

use a piece of masking tape to hold the flag up. If light is still blinking, you have some other issue.
