I’m about to take this pos outside and put a 12g 00buck in it. It’s not connecting no matter what I do. Update: It works and I love it!!! Actually a great printer! I deleted the HP app on my phone and downloaded it again. I unplugged the printer and made a bowl of ramen noodles and when I came back and redid the whole process everything works and haven’t had a problem since!

I cannot do this by my mobile phone because my Wi-Fi and mobile connects with 5ghz and printer needs 2.4 ghz - how to solve this?

Try to connect again when internet is slow or being used by many devices. That time the 2.4ghz is active and it will connect to it. All 5ghz routers have 2.4ghz option too and it works automatically.

@@PrinterGuruji Thanks i needed to edit my wi-fi router settings to change it to 2.4ghz, but in the end i had to delete or printer drivers, then reinstall it and NEVER connect driver to the wi-fi. It seems that application is the issue.

Do not buy this printer. If there is an e at the end of model number avoid it. I spent 2 days trying to set it up and simply print some tax papers. Thes printers that have an e at the end of the model number require the internet just to print. HP is a real piece of s**t to do this. I can’t print from my offline PC. You can only use HP toner in it which sucks because I bought an extra toner cart. the day I bought the printer. That was $50.00. I hope the warranty will let me replace it. HP is a horrible company and I will NEVER buy anything HP again. I have been tinkering with computers for about 20 years and have never had such a compicated time with a printer. It wanted a PIN nmber, for what? It’s just a freaking printer. They want your bank info also. Yeah, really. Just to print ink to paper. No more HP for me!

@@brownhippy The "No USB" sticker on the back of the printer can be revealed to show that there is a USB port hiding underneath. You are able to print via USB using this port.

I think you can reset to factory setting
