Fine machine; fine, clear video instruction - HOWEVER, note that full 11x17 paper size requires tray to extend out ~2" (~76 mm). Apart from slightly disrupting the sleek appearance (which is a plus, if you are a design guy/gal, & interact with clients while working), pay attention to a bit of extra dust infiltration over time. Also concur about excellent value for price. Very impressive. Thanks!

I just got mine and now I see, there are 2 flip down Tray Covers that I did not get! When the Paper Tray is extended, they are supposed to flip down, and neither of mine are here! How do I order them?

I have seen it missing on other videos, it looks like those trays are missing but HP might have changed it so doesn't have tray covers anymore. For dust protection and having A3 paper in the trays I do not like those covers are gone.

Is the duplex scanner of the "one pass" (double optical sensors) type OR of the "mechanical" type which reverses each sheet of paper? Alas, HP's webpage does not clarify that.

I purchased one of these a few years ago. It constantly goes to the blue screen with error code and you need to unplug it to reset. works a few days then does it again. HP support basically says to unplug it because they don't have a fix. Must be a electro mechanical defect. Started right after the warranty ran out.

Hello, few questions if I can test: 1. check both A4/A3 alignment if it is properly set up... my MFC5720DW fails to align for example as wide format printer. If I print table lines are always bit misaligned. 2. check scanner quality from glass and from ADF including double side scanning Content request: Any chance making printhead flushing video for Epson's Pro WF series printers that use cartridges that do not move with prinhead, example WF-5620.

@@AGirlLikeMeee I think what you are asking is how to change the scan resolution? We have in the USA, which I assume you are not here, an app that you install with your printer called "HP Smart". In that app on your computer, you can select the scan resolution from 75 dpi to 1200 dpi. Hope that helps. I know it is a bit late.

@@BestPrinters I just installed mine and it won't scan. It says I am refused permission and need to contact my administrator. :( Any ideas? It never asked for/gave a password installing so I am at a loss as to why it was "disabled by administrator"...me, being the only user.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.
