2023 omens (xf/wf series) were known for hall sensor issue where the laptop screen would suddenly stop working - digging into those threads, it is evident that the issue occurs due to a poor hall sensor placement location in laptops which have a few ports at the back. this laptop (xd0020ax and likely most xd/wd series) has all ports on the sides - the back is entirely vents and thus it is NOT prone to the said issue. Now, the port layout is exactly same as 2023 victus models, so I am convinced the motherboard inside is a tweaked victus motherboard once hp realized the mess with the original 2023 omen. Ideally that should have been a cause for concern as companies cheap out on components on lower priced series (like victus in this case), but looking at the performance and the change from mediatek mt7921 wifi card (which has pathetic download speeds in 2023 victus series) to chart topper mediatek mt792

Why did you not open the laptop to show us the insides & upgrade options. Most will have to install a 2nd ssd. 1tb or 2tb . Single 1tb is not enough in 2023. Games quickly fill up storage.

I am using HP Omen & it's battery backup is good...see any gaming laptop wether it is budget one or flagship one....to get good battery life you have to use iGPU mode plus battery saver mode....otherwise no gaming laptop can good backup in performance mode 👍👍

Sir i am planning to buy omen ryzen 7 7840hs laptop for vedio editing purposes lk 4k renderings and graphic designing. Does this laptop is reliable because i do delevry job and earned this money to but it cpsts 1.4 lakhs hard earned money so wether its wise to invest in this ruzen 7 series laptop or should i go for omen i7 14 gen !!! pleas correct me if i am wrong but i see in most of game cpu and gpu temps 82 which is 13 to 14 deg lower than compare to tuf so its thermal management is very good compare to tuf if that the case if we use good cooling pad then it can come to 77 or 75 in most games so can anyone what is the upper hand of ASUS tuf 7435hs + 4060 compare to omen 7840hs ... omen get 15% better in cpu performance and 13% better in thermal 10 better in cpu efficiency ... for only 8k extra ....

@@saksham7004 ya build quality wise , it's pretty good,the all metal body with the same level of specs takes way more money,if you can afford it ,go for it. For me an aluminium lid worked good and the plastic isn't cheap plastic like acer,it feels good and sturdy. It's way better than the omen 16
