@@johnmano1439 i would also add that it depends what laptop spec too, if gaming then expect it to run hotter. Or with dedicated graphics card although..... amd is making their integrated ones to compete with the gtx 1070

My i7 11gen with nvidia grafics pavilion model doesnt do it. Its the same as the one in this video to, it just turn the fan on when i use a heavy program but it doesnt do to much noise

@@michealadebz yes, it's basically fully aluminum, besides the front portion that surrounds the display, haven't really gamed on it much but I have played GTA 5 and it runs pretty well on performance mode And the fans are basically non-existent unless you doing heavy tasks while on performance mode and even then they aren't unbeatably loud... Laptop doesn't get hot either in my experience.

i have the ryzen 5 version of this and its pretty garbage always thermal throttling and an appauling wifi card that cant go past 200mbits and there is no ethernet so got to buy a stupid ethernet adapter now

I just bought this laptop and... I'm not sure if it has a fault. The default display settings feel VERY yellow to me. A part of it could be me just being used to my old laptop, but it feels much more than a case of that. Red for example looks like dull orange, even before comparing it to other devices and my old laptop. I've played around a lot with the colour temperature, hue settings etc in the AMD software, and the Windows colour settings too, and it still feels way off. Did you feel the same way? Or do you think it's possible that mine could be faulty?

What's the sRGB coverage on yours? If it's below 70 then it's not a bad unit but just a display that doesn't cover a wide gamute . I returned an ideapad 5 for the same reason...

It is basically the same as 15z-eh000. I know since I own 15z-eh000 CTO that I bought in the beginning of the year. I just added some more RAM (myself) total of 32GB @ 3200MHz (2 x 16GB RAM modules) and Windows 10 Professional (which was part of my HP CTO built) (now running Windows 11 Professional (which is running wonderfully). Windows 11 Professional Bitlocker Drive Encryption works perfectly with the laptop's TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot in protecting your data from physical unauthorized access to your drive and the data on the drive. The fingerprint reader is integrated with the laptop's TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. As well as the fingerprint reader works wonderfully with Windows 11 "Windows Hello Fingerprint". No "Windows Hello Face" without adding a webcam that supports it. Although "Windows Hello Face" can add security vulnerability, due to that once you look at the computer while someone is there, that you do not want to see what is on the screen, and your face unlocks to the screen and show what is on the screen. Which is why "Windows Hello Face" is not as secure as "Windows Hello Fingerprint". For that reason I find the lack of "Windows Hello Face" actually adds to the security. And yes, there is the Kensington Nano Security lock slot as well for added security. Which I do have a Kensington ClickSafe Nano Security lock to go with the laptop. Still the same laptop with: 1TB NVMe M.2 drive, AMD Ryzen 7 4700 (Idles at 2 GHz (in fact I saw the CPU go as low as 1.7 GHz on idle. Talk about power saving) all the way up to 4.1 GHz (actually I saw the CPU go as high as 4.3 GHz) with 8 cores) and AMD Radeon builtin graphics, 15.6" diagonal FHD (1920 x 1080) touch screen, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX and Bluetooth 5 combo card, full-size keyboard with numeric keypad and backlit, fingerprint reader, and more. I also tested this laptop thru its HDMI port to a 4K screen @ 60 fps and it works with no signs of any problems. Which means that this laptop, being plugged in a 4K screen, can do 4K @ a least 60 fps or more. While I was testing the laptop on a 4K screen (thru the HDMI port) I also tested on editing 4K video with Adobe Creative Suite with no problem at all. Very good balance between power user needs and power efficiency. Which I agree that this is a very good business laptop. In fact, that is how I explain my laptop as a very good quality executive class business laptop.

HP Laptops are just bad. I have one next to me that it makes so much noise that it is embarrassing even to take it out, the USB and the Wireless are not stable. After the guarantee was expired and I opened it, I found that the PCB were not screwed on the body. Especially in the low end models that you recommend I am sure that the things are really bad. This good thing about what I write is that you can ask for a raise in what HP is paying you for the things that they sell.
