Thanks for the video and for showing re-assembly! I agree that it is bad design to have to open everything up to upgrade the RAM but I suppose it is a good opportunity to clean out the fan. Advice for newbies: Keep all the screws in a safe location and separate the ones from the case/motherboard etc. so you know where they should go for re-assembly as some are a different size. Could you be more specific on what screwdrivers are needed? Especially the different one on the CD Drive, Thanks

It does not have m.2 slot. You can buy a 2.5 Sata SSD and install it in place of exisiting hdd

@@Ashesoftheliving hey your problem is if your using 2 ram cards together the ram cards are probably not able to work together I recommend buying the ram Kingston ram and match them mismatched ram is probably your problem IM NOT A PROFESSIONAL its just my thought

Depends on your model mine has a m.2 ssd slot same motherboard. You can also see in the video above on the right side of Ram's have place for m.2 but they didn't put the connector

What can you suggest for the following issue? I have a 15-p030nl Pavillon notebook that wont power on. When I push Power button, the Caps Lock led blinks 3 times for a cycle of 4 sequences. At the end of the fourth sequence, Power button switches off and after about 3 or 4 seconds it lights again and the cycle starts again indefinitely. What can cause of the problem?

Try unseating and reseating the ram, replace CMOS cell,remove keyboard cable, replace the ram...if all this does not work..get it to proffessional service centre

Hello Sandeep, A Philips head screw driver; I used one of those screw driver kits that allow for different screw driver sized bits, and tested each one until I found the one with the correct size; it should sit firmly and securely to allow you to use reasonable finger pressure to remove the screw; there's only screw that needs to be removed for replacing the optical drive. I replace the old DVD-RW drive with a Blu Ray burner. I haven't yet tried to burn any Blu Rays on it yet, but it will allow viewing of files on 50GB Blu Rays.
