I recently purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad C340 2 in 1 touchscreen laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, Vega 8 gfx, 8gb RAM(which I upgraded to 12), 1TB nvme SSD. I personally like that better than this HP one as it provides better bang for the buck. I got it along with Lenovo backpack and the Active Pen for around 55k. Edit: My use is going to be media consumption, college work, some casual gaming, photo editing and a bit of 1080p video editing.

There's a lot of confusion regarding the upgradability/expandability of RAM with this laptop in Amazon reviews. Some are stating that max. RAM is 8GB . Some are stating there is only one RAM slot. i have recently just bought one! i absolutely love it! also has an SD card slot which is just perfect to save photos from my dslr. Also studying full time and its working wonders. i definitely recommend this version. I used to have an air mac with just too many common viruses and bullshit i had to go through while studying. Good review, thanks. Have you seen many users reporting cracked screens with this model, during regular usage? I have the 2018 model and after 8 months of light use, its screen cracked and popped out in the bottom right corner. After the fact, I read some HP forums (search: hp x360 cracked screen) and noticed many others had the same experience with their relatively new x360 screens breaking from normal use. As you'll read in the forums, it seems HP typically declines to cover these screen repairs even under warranty, on grounds that it must have been user-caused accidental damage. So potential buyers should be aware of this pattern of x360 screens breaking under normal use, and that the $500-ish cost of repair likely won't be covered under HP's standard warranty.

As long as you are in a room and AC is turned on, you will be fine. HP laptops are notorious for getting a little warm, the same is the case with this one as well.

If anyone wants to buy this laptop, do not! First of all, the keyboard is so junky and plasticky that the keys wobble around. It gets hot even with around 4 tabs open. It cannot run any game without the CPU overheating and the fan going berserk. Can't even run roblox, struggles to get above 10 FPS. Performance is horrific with memory being eaten up at 80% usage with 2 tabs open. Flimsy design and the screen can easily pop out from its hinges. If you are a student that would need this for some moderate work or low-end gaming such as roblox or minecraft, do not buy it. Paid around 1400 AUD for it and regret making the purchase.

Well, Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptops are obviously much more powerful laptops with dedicated graphics chipset. My opinion would be to go for Dell if you want better value for money and want to future proof yourself.

Hi Varun. Loved the review. You've got an amazing voice - Im sure Im not the first person telling you this..lol! A small request buddy, if its not too much of a problem, can you review hp pavilion 15-eg0105TX? This is the touchscreen model in this series. Although it is touchscreen, however its not convertible one. I am not sure why hp did not give this feature :( Or is it there, but I am not aware. Pls can you check and confirm?

Thanks, buddy! Don't go for this if you are doing excels and reading PDFs. The screen is really glossy and it does'nt get super bright either. You are better off with matt screens on other laptops.

You can use an Ad Blocker to block all annoying ads and popups. This laptop is fine for your heavy browsing experience. Just one thing though - This comes with 8GB of RAM, my recommendation would be to upgrade it to 16GB so that you have more memory available for Chrome tabs.

Yes GTA will work but FPS will be between 30-40. Will be very patchy. I do not recommend playing games on this.

Yes, there is a battery drain on standby which is kinda annoying but that's a common issue with windows machines.

Yes go ahead and by it but make sure to upgrade the RAM to 16 gigs :) Fingerprint works well after the bios update.

Hi is this laptop color accurate? I just bought mine and compared it with dell laptop and i think there seems to be a problem with color accuracy because they both produce different colors when compared, though not sure which one is accurate. Also don't know if im using the 2019 or 2020 version, how will i know what version I'm using?

Did you face a lot of noise issues from the fan? Mine was very loud and the laptop heated up too quick. Also the b&o speakers were very weak

Yes data retrieval on SSD is difficult and expensive but on the flip side SSD's rarely fail so you are safe there.

Yes it would, but 8GB RAM will probably fall short. If you are going for this, ask the seller to bump up the RAM to at least 16 gigs. Photoshop will run smoothly at 16 gigs of RAM.
