Schönes Video. Wird der RAM Riegel tatsächlich mit 32GB erkannt? HP ist an der Stelle sehr spartanisch im Handbuch und gibt nur 16GB an, sprich keine genaue maximale Belegung.

I am installing extra 4GB RAM in brand new i5. I had removed the screws but was scared to pry the cover off until I watched your video. It sounds like I am destroying the cover when removing it. I got it off upgraded and back together but it seems that many will break theirs attempting this. Thanks for posting.

I bent the metal edges of the laptop getting it off. It is a bit tricky. Definitely more serviceable than my asus though.

Thanks for the helpful video. If someone is adding a new hard drive you may not have the cable like there is in the video, in which case you need HP part L45094-001. I learnt this after buying the drive and opening up the laptop.

Das Video hat mir - im Gegensatz zum Support bei HP - nicht nur gezeigt, wie dieses Gehäuse zu öffnen ist, ich erfuhr auch, dass ich leicht eine SSD im 2,5 Zoll Format einbauen kann und nicht zwingend eine größere M.2 brauche. Dankeschön!

Letztendlich hängt das von vielen Sachen ab, ich hab natürlich bessere Testmöglichkeiten aber nutze meist den kingston Speichercheck oder Crucial, hier siehst du gut was die Maximalbelegung ist.

Hallo Alex, super Tutorial. Ich möchte am ProBook HP Probook 455R G6 ein zweites Speichermodul einsetzen. Ich habs genauso gemacht, Schrauben raus, alle Clips geöffnet. Aber irgendwie geht die Rückwand trotzdem nicht ab. Irgendwas ist da noch in der Mitte der Rückwand. Ich will auch nichts beschädigen und nicht zuviel Gewalt anwenden. Kann es sein dass die Rückwand noch in der Mitte verklebt ist ?

I have this computer as a standard (8GB Ram with 128gb of SSD). I can upgrade the ram to 32gb. However, I am thinking of just adding an additional16GB of Ram to it making it a 24 GB ram. In addition, I was just thinking of adding an additional 250gb internal hard drive and not upgrading the SSD as I don't have much cash. Do you think my idea is ok? So I'll be adding 16GB oF RAM and an additional internal 250gb hardrive, will it be ok? - subbed.
