all these stupid videos forget to mention/show an "optional" security screw located within the battery bay that will prevent the service bay from sliding off!! ...I nearly broke the laptop trying to force it off! just check the manual instead!! useless!!

If you mean that cover next to the battery which covers RAM, HDD and other internals there is no security screw there (at least not in mine core i7 ProBook 470g1) so you can just slide it off. I am gonna be changing old broken hard drive on mine so that’s how I know.
