That is a docking station or port replicator, used to put more ports than are available already in the laptop.

I have this one and ask me what kind of error it is when I plug in the AC adapter and the power button immediately starts blinking on and on and nothing else happens? At the moment I didn't have the right memory, but I think this blinking has nothing todo with memory. Have you an advise for this behaviour? I would be really happy!

If you guys ever had error just put in the stop code. It gives you otherwise people like me can't help you. LMAO i have the same laptop for 3 years no problems only overheat. XD i just need new thermopaste and she be fine lol

@@vaidasdosas7566 when it overheats it shuts down to save the CPU from burnout but yes always get name brand paste very cheap. EZ to do.

@@vaidasdosas7566 It so simple, Alochol wipe off the old stuff, apply dont spread and reattach ez plz lemon Well U know factory crap that comes with it is trash. I take it off every time I get a new computer, Name brand stuff can last up to 5 years depends on ur usage

Mine has a GPU too. There's actually lots of variants of this model. For instance, I don't have the trackball on the keyboard and I just discovered that some ProBook 650 have one...
