Here is a thread that describe the h.264ify plugin for chrome. This is supposed to fix the high cpu usage while playing vids on YT. It tells YT to only play the requested vid in h.264 where there is much hardware decoding support instead of using the VP8/9 which YT uses. Has it got a secondary desktop installed i.e UBUNTU MATE installed inside of Windows 10 not as a separate partition, if only there were thin clients based on the DAA78L and A10-7800k (Kaveri) and 64GB of DDR3 RAM.

I have the t610 plus with a Radeon 4gb GPU card. I can't seem to get it to run video without stuttering in 720 and 1080. I have 8gb ram installed and SSD. The computer just really struggles to play video in modern video quality.

Hi Unkyjoe, thx for the video. I've bought the same thinclient with the same specs and I've installed windows 10 home (just to test). However, I seem to have video driver problems (it is using the ati drivers that windows auto downloads after install). When I boot it seems to only display the desktop in EXTENDED dual screen mode, however I only have 1 screen and it is only showing the second screen. So I can't really do anything. Plus after a while it starts freezing etc. Do you or anyone else have a fix for this?

For my HP T610 Thin Client, I currently have a dual-boot of Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-bit) and Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). It has 4GB RAM and 120GB SSD, and is not only my backup computer but also my mini retro PC gaming system that is backwards-compatible with most Win9x games. I also have a refurbished Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core m3-6Y30, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD), but since the charger for my Surface Pro 4 has stopped working, I decided to temporarily switch to my HP T610 Thin Client, set to run Windows 10, until my replacement charger for my Surface Pro 4 arrives at my door.

Hi, Thanks for this video. I just got a few of these , installed Win10. I have 8gb ram in mine, an older but decent ssd. But I seem to get very slow boot times for an ssd. Much slower right speeds than yours. I'm not sure if it is my settings or just a low quality drive. I installed the new edge browser based on chrome, and could not play a KZbin video properly, very choppy. What video card chipset drivers do you recommend or any tweaks you have found since this video?

UnKyjoe I added a 120gb ssd and bought an adapter for the only i/o on the mb 4x wired to 16x pcie slot and dropped an amd 7570 2gb graphics card in and my cinnabench test are worlds over yours if you want a pic I can show you lol
