Drift! Center highmount for the motor, convert to rwd, install gyro, fast servo and rebuild the steering with a c-hub delete mod for max steering angle and ackerman.

With the weather and to be different, Safari Rally car. That protected drive-line would be great for it, Just a bit of ride height, A snorkel and maybe a bull-bar on the body and it'll look the part

When you took the lid off I was not expecting to see a virtually fully built chassis,I just bought the Porsche GT3 RSR version and the reciever box is pictured in the instruction manual with an o-ring seal to make it waterproof,my kit didn't come with this,after a "discussion" with HPI,this o-ring seal has been discontinued as they felt it was now unnecessary due to the reciever being a "waterproof" item,they hadn't updated the manual.

I wasn't expecting it built either. Just speculation on my part, but the big T company has been going after companies that have infringed on their copyright of "water-proof" receiver boxes.

@@TheRCNetwork yes,I thought it would be a box full of parts like the old days that required full assembly,I know the bodies can be expensive for licensed kits but I don't see a ton of advantages over buying a flux RS4 and just putting another body on it,the radio gear and motor seem more than adequate.🤔,I heard that about licensing issues but I didn't think an o-ring was patentable cutting edge science/engineering!😀😉✌👍

what size offset rims does this car need on the front and rear for a 200mm bodies???

Typically a 6mm offset front and a 9mm offset rear....but it really depends on the body and how flared it is.

BUild off meaning we all start with a blank slate chassis. ANyone can build a chassis....but making the body, wheels/tires and other things is what makes a build

@@TheRCNetwork Well If buying off the shelf wheels and tyres and painting up a body (and adding scale details ) imply BUILD to you then fair enough . Not a 'hill I am prepared to die on' or anything like that it is just (TO ME) building employs some form/amount of making not just choosing and assembling. I also dislike(maybe too strong a word) those that say "I built this computer" , "no you didn't, you assembled it from parts someone else actually made". When I 'built' (or rather assembled) this computer I choose a motherboard from one manufacturer, a power supply from another, a procesor from another ... , then assembled them all together there was 'skill' involved in picking components that would work together and ensuring no one component was ridiculously better/worse than the rest but the actual 'building' (or rather assembling)involved virtually zero skill/talent at all. Selecting what goes with what requires your skill/talent but (TO ME) it is not building.
