Nice tune you got on there. What I would recommend doing is tuning the transmission so it lasts a little bit longer before it shifts into second. In my opinion it seems like it shifts too quick

Yeah, all the bearings are gone in the box, previous video's I took it apart, then put it back together and just ran it lol.

Haggard RC the savage transmissions are pretty tough. I had to take mine apart for the first time in 10 years because of a striped gear. The transmission lasted at years and 2 engines before I had to replace 1 gear. The savage is a work of art

dose how you store and move nitro cars have an effect on them running? eg if the car is stored flat but move front end up (or down) will the car be harder to start?

Nah, it won’t make a difference at all. They’re two stroke engines so they can be stored upsidown and it won’t matter. If they were 4 stroke it would.

cleaned mine went out and the conrod snapped in half and piston seized on the cylinder head. onther 6 years on the shelf now

I. Have a savage and it will not roll backward at all. What do you think would be the problem? It runs fine goes good other than that. Do they all come with 3 speed gearbox?

Eh who cares, nitros have always been more fun to me anyways. The smell and the sound of it can never compare. Yeh I could easily go buy a brushless and call it a day but what's the fun in that

Agree can't beat nitro and I have both vorza, efirestorm, erevo and they fly. Ive got associated rc8b3.1 and losi 8ight running reds and team orion engines and there something else. Race them all day keep topping up with feul and they keep going. Prob have to have 10 lipo batteries to get a good day racing. But I do love them both.

There are fast nitro jato can do over 60mph straight out the box. Brushless is good fast but great for bashing speed runs. But nitro all the way for off road racing. My vorza flips with to much acceleration off the start but does put a smile when she's up top speed.
