It’s still the OG king!! Nothing drives quite like a savage and that sound 👌😍

Glad you like it! This is just the beginning too, this SS is going to push over 50+mph 😁

That's impressive for a savage with a big red, 44/20. and still wheeling and blistering at 50mph! keep on savaging brotha!

Glad you like it! With the Big Red having so much bottom end torque it’ll still lift the front end with ease even when it’s geared so high. Makes it a damn rocket lol

@@SavageRobRC you should send it to a big ramp for some big air! lol

Dynamite makes GREAT engines, imho... Affordable and reliable... all you have to do is take care of it properly. When I raced my RC10GT in the mid 90's, I had a Dynamite "TNT12" in it and had no problem getting on the podium, right next to the OS CZ-Z and Yokomos. Currently restoring an old Losi GTX with a PD12 ("hopped up" by Ron Paris version of the TNT12), and that's a sharp looking motor! Red annodized head with a black painted crankcase... That said, I have an old Savage 25 that was donated to me years ago.. Looks brand new, practically (it is, really...).. Anyway, the engine was "stolen" out of it and I think if I can find a Big Red on the cheap, it's gonna be a go!

I agree! These budget engines are actually really good as long as they are broken in properly and tuned right. As you can see the Big Red is a great drop in engine for a Savage, you won’t regret it!

Can you share links for the 44t spur? Anything different to install than the factory one? Love the vid!
@SavageRobRC2 ай бұрын
@@mojarnuggetGlad you like it 👍🏼 I don’t have a link but the part # is HPI 102093, you can get them on eBay. It’s hardened steel so make sure your clutch bell is hardened steel as well.

Sounds great...50mph is pretty damn fast for a savage.....love the savage I bet with street tires u probably could go faster
@SavageRobRC9 ай бұрын
Thanks for checking it out 👍🏼 My favorite part are the wheelies and walking it lol but I’m sure it’ll hit 50+ on street tires.

@@reeamcustomrc3466 Yes, I run the same one on my Savage XL. It’s by Integy, you can get them on their eBay shop.

A homie im seem to not be able to find the 20 tooth bell , and the 44 tooth spur . Do u have any direction thanks .
@SavageRobRC3 ай бұрын
I had to source them from eBay. The spur gear is easy to find but the 20t CB is kinda rare but you can always get the 19t CB as that one is more common.
@Dirty2633 ай бұрын
Ok appreciate it homie . What turn out from flush is your two speed spring . And what nitro u using now that bones brew out of business?
@Dirty2633 ай бұрын
Do u have a part numberFor the spur , also are u still using slipper or u using the flux 44 tooth spur with no slipper …
@SavageRobRC3 ай бұрын
@@Dirty263 I don’t have those part #s but if you Google it or search it on eBay they should come up. I’m running VP now, it’s what I ran many years ago before Bones was out so I was happy to make the switch back.

I used to believe the low tank lean happening . But that just ain’t true There is no such thing as a half tank lean situation unless the tank is broken. Doesn’t sound lean to me. Sounds great on point
