Does this set up heat up the engine quickly? Is this mainly for speed runs or extended runs / more time?

With stock motor mount? only to 18 theeth. If you want more speed, u have to change the motor mount to a custom made, to use 26 or 30 pinion gear. Use 6s, and don't pull the trigger fast, go loading.
