'...I love the smell of Testor's enamels in the morning...' mmm what great memories! Long before I began using acrylic craft paints, I had a couple Testors paint carousels filled with little bottle paints, two bottles of brush cleaner and 'all the fixins'- good times... I can't count how many planes, cars and ships those saw me thru. Glad to see someone still uses at least a little enamel for old times sake! :)

I used to do that too on every build when I was younger..still kinda do..but not much as most of all my builds have been parts box gluebomb rebuilds.

Personal choice. I use molotow sometimes when I can wait for it to dry and sharpie for others when I need it dry instantly.

This kit is good. It could be even greater if AMT was to mod some parts, like modding the grill as to put transparent headlights and other things. Really good build as always. I do have a question for you. I bought a paint pen for my lettering. The paint dry correctly. However, the pen has a tendency of getting a HUGE drop of white paint on its tip which end up making huge blotches and making me have to remove the paint. Do you have any tips so this doesn't happen?

@@C.Brown5150 That would be Plymouth Duster produced from 1970-76. The Dodge Dart Sport(the name of the fastback coupe), originated as the Dodge Demon in 1971, but the Christian opposition in the deep south part of the U.S. objected to the name, so Chrysler(the parent company to Dodge & Plymouth), changed the name to Dart Sport for the 1973 model until 1976 when the Dodge Dart & Plymouth Valiant lines were discontinued.

My question tho, have you ever built army vehicles, M124A1 M-ATV - Ryefield #5032 - 1/35th, or the Firetruck that just came out. I kno they would take alot of time but id like to see your take on either one of those. Like i said, i love the videos, and watching the paint. Love the tunes u play. Just askin a random ??

I bought the previous release of this kit a few years ago, the 76 dodge dart sport, and I remember being kind of disappointed with the quality. The body never sat right and the plastic felt rather flimsy. Would you say this kit is worth another shot? I would love to have a Spirit of '76 Dart on my shelf, but I don't know if I can justify spending $30 on a kit I don't remember being all that great.
