In my hometown every June they would have a mud bog. A local farmer would donate the use of his Deutz 4 wheel drive tractor to pull a truck out of the mud pit when it got stuck. When a truck got stuck the announcer would say "fire up the Deutz Bob we got another one stuck". That's what this build reminded me of

I’m in my 40’s now and you have me dreaming of creating model kits. What you do is art. Definitely takes a creative eye to know how to do those paint jobs, especially the weathering, which makes it look so real! 👍🏻

Almost turned it off in a panic when that styrene schreeched across your table!! Looks cool.that flimsy bit with arms is a part of the hitch, like the 3 point hitches on modern tractors. Looked like to me anyway.Yep that's the lifting arms. Another thing cool about these kits, the way they go together, you could leave the steering axle off,and cut the rear axle loose from the fenders, and presto! You have a stationary power source. For like a mill or a machine shop with all the machinery running off ganged up belts etc. Neato idea for a diorama. cool little kit!

Just cause you seem to like trivia - Deutz (say "Zuess") was famous for its Quick Quarter Turn fastener used on airplanes and race cars (still). ALL their engines (even this tractor's) were/are Air Cooled and are popular with light freighters as an emergency generator unit (no water needed). I know all this as I was once a Maritime Engineer on light freighters servicing coastal Alaska. Thanks again for sharing...
