i always just die in the eye room. 2s after start i get 1k ticks from flickering and within 1,5s im dead (10k health). why do you get not so much dmg? do i miss here something?

The eyes pulsate damage if you stand too close, when you first enter the room you need to position your character between all the eyes so none of the pulsing damage hits you, then after each eye dies you have more free room to move around. Essentially it’s a phase that starts off at the hardest part and gradually gets easier as you kill more eyes. This got me a few times as well!
