"THE END" part makes me feel sad and I don't know why

Elliott Smiths step-dad sexually harassed him at a young age. Smith also had to bare witness to his mother being abused by this man, but as a child had no capability to change anything. Elliott Smith left home at the age of 13, to live on his own and escape the mental and physical torture he was experiencing at his home. This song was written to his mother. "I'm never gonna know you now, but I'm gonna love you anyhow." He wont be a part of her life, but he will always care for her, and love her with all of his heart. He was smart enough to not blame his mother for preventing or stopping the molestation that happened to him. He was a brilliant musician, and truly knew how to express himself. I envy his talent.

I'm doing research on Elliott Smith, in a humble and knowingly desperate attempt to raise funds for a biographical film. Your insight is intriguing. Did you know Elliott? Or is this information in some other text or document? Thanks. I didn't know Elliott, but I miss him.
@shaneanthony079 жыл бұрын
***** He introduced me to heroin. The text can also be found in several accurate but vague articles. You can found what I've said, but in terms that are appropriate for a child to hear, or read. I'm glad to see you're researching him, you will not be let down...he's worth the time.

He went to live with his real dad when he was 13 didn't he? Not live on his own

Literally the song of my youth, when i was an infant this is the song i loved most. I didn't understand any of it, all i knew was that the music was awesome, and i loved the tune. Still makes me nostalgic.

All these people coming from Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda bothers me. I mean I admit I've also read, and loved the book. But Elliott Smith's music, and his whole existence have always meant so much to me. Though I'm happy many discovered him, which means a longer life to his music that I wish he himself had, I just can't seem to shake off this annoyance I have.
@gihadfaheem6 жыл бұрын
I understand that sort of posessiveness you may have cuz I have it all the time but I also came from SVTHSA and sure it may be because if a book or movie but you can be intoduced to something through books or movies and they end up meaning so much to you
