It is good to see these horses being displayed naturally, without a lot of fancy braids or handlers in fancy outfits. Just the horses being evaluated on their own merits.

Croatian Posavina horse. Absolutely beautiful pocket sized draft ponies of remarkable proportions, very much more refined than most draft breeds but still incredibly massive for their size while retaining complete proportion. Compact extremely sturdy, active, well muscled short backed with very pretty small refined heads, small pointed alert ears, large nostrils, big wide yes, thick manes and low set tail, excellent short bone wide round hooves with only medium feathering on the legs. This looks like a draft version of the Welsh pony or even Arab and coming in the same solid colours. Certainly weight carriers and pullers. It's interesting there seems to be quite a marked sexual dimorphism, the mares being a lot smaller and very much less muscular broad or compact, a different outlook to the males much like you get in the Lusitano breed for example. Having said that I haven't seen any mares presented for keuring or selection on video. A very nice selection of quality stallions here that will be critical for preserving the breed which is unfortunately and given their beauty also strangely endangered. I think this breed could become very popular and for obvious reasons given their sheer attractivness. In English Im still trying to work out the name but I guess its the Croatian Posavina or just Posavina. Everyone should have a couple of quality mares and a stallion ha ha.

Horse breed is "Croatian posavaz"! But we have ALSO(in Croatia) DOG BREED CALLED "POSAVAZ HOUND". I said that because of possible confusion about that name...
