"Shall" traditionally "we" er shathe use hoy future events express korte, but modern English-e "will" more common. Indirect speech-e jodi direct sentence-e "shall" thake, tokhon backshift hoy "should" (obligation) or "would" (future event). Ekhane: Direct: "We'll (we shall) soon be at your station." Indirect: I said we would soon be at their station. "Shall" → "would" hoy future action report korte, tai ekhane "would" perfect fit. 😊

Yes, it is correct and grammatically acceptable to use the verb "was" (or any verb) twice in a sentence when needed for proper meaning and grammatical structure. Here's why it's necessary in this case: 1. Prothom "was" diye bujhaano hochhe onno lok-ra eto ta important chhilo na. 2. Ditio "was" diye bujhaano hochhe je ami important chhilam. "No other man was as important as I was" e sentence-e prothom "was" ta comparison-er part ("as important as") bujhaano jonne use hoyeche. Ditio "was" ta sentence complete korte, amar state ke highlight korte use kora hoyeche. 😊
