I'm old enough to have gone through Jr High and High School with woodworking programs, metal shop, and auto shop. After taking those programs, I went to college for Computer Science and have been an IT nerd in senior leadership for 32yrs.....but I've built many attached and detached garages, sheds, greenhouses, tree houses, and I'm currently finishing a little cabin on 10ac in the mountains in CA as a getaway for me and my wife. My two sons have gone through High School with none of those programs, but have been around me building structures for their entire lives, it's terrible we don't open kids minds to other career paths, and possibilities, in the trades unless their parents are already in the trades.

As I seat here in front of my computer, I look at a woodworking project that I made in Jr, High shop... omg 56 years ago. It is a lamp that I still use. I have used it as a sample project with my boys and hopefully with my granddaughters. I went to a Tech college in Boston , Wentworth and as I was there I used the same project to teach kids at a Boys Club. I became a homebuilder and still at it because I love it. We need all kinds of trade people so this is a great program. good stuff!!

I work part-time at the next district over, Littleton Public Schools, and we started up something very similar last year at our EPIC campus (Explorative Pathways for Innovative Careers) & in the meanwhile, since EPIC is handling the carpentry/ building trades end of things, the high schools are also retaining their woodshops with more of a fine woodworking/ woodturning emphasis and at least one of them has partnered with Red Rocks Community College's fine woodworking program to get the HS students concurrent college credit. Pretty cool to see a renaissance of stuff like this!

My older brother has a Master in Fine Art, yet he has worked in construction and contracting for most of his career. My other brother is a Clockmaker with a degree in health and fitness. With the cost of Univ. now days, trades are the way to go, even if it's not in construction. I went into Rad. Tech. school back when they paid us instead of the crazy prices it takes now to get into the medical field.

These programs are all well and good and i am so glad the kids get this HS experience. But just remember the USA has always had robust apprenticeship programs since 1935 and the passage of the Wagner act that made unions legal. Thank you FDR! Unions created the middle class and are still very much needed today. Vote for a political class that will support unions and give back prosperity and dignity to the working class. I am a 68 year old local 28 union sheet metal worker, now retired, with dignity.

The unions have to re-earn America's trust. Growing up with many union members across my family, the graft and corruption I witnessed or heard stories about was insane, and every one of my friends who are now union members can tell similar stories. I don't think I was in a unique situation... The trades unions haven't had the same bad press as the UAW or some of the others, but it isn't surprising that few Americans recognize the value of unions anymore.

I'm new to trading, and I've lost a good sum trying out strategies I found in online tutorials. I would sincerely appreciate any recommendations you have.

I suggest Miss Stephanie Aaron Trentham is extremely good on that. She is really good on what she does, Now I can pay so many bills because of her help.

This is correct, Stephanie strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
