hi ...Did you only put under glaze on your bowls? Or did you you have to put a clear glaze over the under glaze to protect it? meaning a second a firing... thanks for your videos

When I put on the the underglaze on the chattering marks, mine came out very dull. Yours looks kind of shiny. Is it because of the brand of underglaze?

What cone you are firing to? You have to go quite high to get the bit of gloss I guess.

Hello! Can you explain me why the rim is white if you have dip the bowl in celadon glazing? Thanks

The glaze has less to grip on the rim, so tends to run down the sides. The celadon mixing with the glazes on the outside produced the yellow hue that fans down from the rim. There is still celadon on the rim, but it is thin so the clay color is more apparent.

If you put a little bit of soap on the brush before you use the wax, the brush will clean up easily with soap and water.
