This is the third time watching this video. I had been trying to bring in the neck of a vase/pot and was having the same things happening as you, the shoulder a bit wobbly and the rim needing to be trimmed because it was uneven. This video made me realize what I was doing was ok and to stick with it. I did and these techniques are working. Beautiful vase. That bowl turned out beautiful and the use of the bulb syringe to add glaze to the top turned out so nice!

His strength (centring], and the delicacy of his movements closing the opening are stunning. I could watch him throw forever. Have never heard of the 6 point narrowing just the choking method. Am inspired to work immediately. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for showing how you throw a narrow mouth. Fantastic and clear instructions, and the form is beautiful, as usual.

J'adore la forme de vos créations. Merci 😊 Je suis content de pouvoir voir la pièce terminée de l'autre fois 👌 . J'espère que la prochaine vidéo montrera la poterie du jour aussi cuite une seconde fois. À bientôt MR

I finally found some good porcelain and I'm trying to get used to it. It dries as you are shaping and the friction causes me to make disasters LOL...

I'm a beginner and I see you use metal rib and wooden rib however I don't quite understand when to use a metal rib and when to use a wooden rib. can you help explain?

Hi Hsinchuen, Do you do any additional trim on the bottom after it dries or keep it as a flat bottom?

Hi Hsinchuen.... i am truly inspired by your work. Thank you.

May I know why do we have to use the metal film? will it remove too much clay?
@hilostateofmind6 жыл бұрын
You mean the metal rib? It won't remove any if you do it lightly.
