Can someone explain to me why that 呢 is there at 2:00? I can't find anything that explains it. Is there a specific grammar point that I can search to find this?

1. 你想什么呢？要出去吗？ Used at the end of an alternative, or rhetorical question.. such as “ok?” Or to express the attitude of the person asking. 2. 我在想穿哪双鞋好呢。 Used at the end of a declarative sentence or statement to reinforce the assertion.. so in this case she’s expressing her attitude towards the problem of choosing shoes. 3. Verb+哪+...+好呢。 Think of this one as a phrase, such as : 吃哪好呢。买哪好呢。..etc Thank you for your question. I hope this is helpful. Welcome to the channel ❤️

I always recommend Reading Out Loud & Memorizing these small pieces of text in every lesson, and definitely use your hand-writing to copy any Chinese text you study, read, or translate. The Speaking-skill isn’t yet essential in the HSK-Test, But it’s definitely essential to help you own the language, and feel comfortable every time you hear it or read it.. so In brief, whenever you find a lesson or a story that you like, Memories it by heart & try to sound similar to the speaker, even try to copy their attitude and speaking tone 😊♥️ I have all recording-video-lessons of HSK-2 on my second channel, check out the playlist here: kzbin.info/aero/PLnBLXw7KTYc4ZGhnFd06vOGAJ8lS_zCtt

@@VitalChinese yes, I've seen and like your other stories. But these exams cheat students into believing they know some chines when in fact they won't be able to understand two sentences of real life conversations. It's like being able to play sheet music only and thinking one is a musician.

@@mikedaniels3009 I agree with you, yet hopefully the new changes in HSK coming up next year is gonna fix that, it might include both Speaking and Translating sections.. To be honest, HSK is only a certificate, just like in all other languages.. getting social is always the key to become fluent ❤️

😂😂 Right I was confused ASF when I went to this Mandarin speaking restaurant, which is now my favorite restaurant, when they were speaking Mandarin to me. Also, from what I hear on the streets-Hsk doesn't prepare us for this lol Maybe HSK 5 does, but not HSK 3 😂

@@VitalChinese I think With the new test, all they did was move HSK 4 to beginner level rather than keeping it as lower/higher intermediate 😂 I think they also added new words to it the latter half or something. I've seen the new list on other channels. It looks roughly the same. I think HSK 4-9 is a good foundation for communication.
