My take on 1:29 is that u were betting on serval to have enough dmg to kill (or u knew she was gonna kill) so u use luka’s skill to preserve his stacks to be able to nuke the aurumaton next wave with bleed damage

Nah even if serval not kill, I would still go for the same play Aurumaton will be dead by bleed damage anyway. I just don't do luka punch at first cycle because tingyun's energy is not full yet and if I don't have her ult to proc dance x3 at next wave, aurumaton + maiden combo will kill me

4:15 - Luka without Guard set 5:05 - Wasn't it better to wait until Asta's turn? Her ult is special. If you use it during an ally's turn, it will not reduce a stack after this turn ends. But If you use it before it will indeed consume a stack.

Yup, if luka use enhanced attack there the aurumaton would die immediately, hence no energy for tingyun to ult and push in the next wave, which can result in a failed run.

Great clear as always! Do you always plan exactly who is going to break, or does it depend on team/opposition? Seems like the Luka/serval team Luka always had to break, but there was more flexibility on the herta team (which allowed the clutch hit to trigger herta's follow up near the end, and for freezes to happen from breaks more generally).

It depends on team, and you catch that quite perfectly! In serval/luka team. Lightning break is much weaker than physical break, plus luka is on BE stat. So I always make sure that luka is the one who break, unless there is emergency. For herta's team. Ice break damage is super weak and no one is playing around break damage. Using fire break is not optimal also since we want a freeze to control the enemy. Therefore there is no need for specific unit to break in this team! For interastral performance point collection on dps unit (which give 50% total damage on next attack per stack) herta cannot efficiently break them into an ult anyway, plus using herta to deliberately collect the stack is not a wise move either ( since that means pela cannot ult before herta, hence you lose out the def break which is more important. ) so yeah, it is what it is!

Yeah, question was prompted by your kit explanation when you mentioned that Serval wasn't built for break, and I remembered that Luka did most of the break and wondered whether that was typical. Clearly a lot of thought goes into it, even if you don't always break with someone with tons of break effect. I did wonder why you didn't break with Herta when the goons spawned, but her def-down being worth more than the performance points makes sense, along with it not being feasible to line up the break to take advantage of the damage increase. MoC9 is more difficult than MoC10 i agree. The new aurumaton deals so much damage and can stun set-up for the other enemy, that’s really cancer. While Gepard is just a pushover in MoC.

For player who have variety of unit they might not feel it that much, but for low cost clear yes, MoC9 survivability requirement is much higher than moc10
