@@RuriGoko yup i think its going to be a good reference video, but dont sweat about it, just use what common people have, you dont have to brute force 4 star character only run if that made you frustate or trying to get the full star clear, almost if not all people will have atleast one or two good 5 star anyway so it should be up to them how to improve from your run

Just as I finished reading people's comments in HoYoLAB about this game having very bad powercreep, this video appeared. What a timing. Also shows that the core problem is not the powercreep ; it's if the content is inaccessible for even '4-star only' players. And fortunately, so far, the game balance is great.

If you're going for 0 cycle things then yeah there's powercreep for sure. But If your goal is to "clear" and you don't mind missing 1-3 stars or slot in some retries, then I think this game is totally fine!

This type of video can only be used as a reference for stats check. Casual players (like majority of people playing this game) in hoyolab can't follow this type of challenge video most of the time because: 1. Most people don't build scuffed units or unit in lower tier than they already have 2. Getting 6/8 4* characters at E6 is not an easy feat. I am day 1 player and i buy monthly pass every month. Still i only have Natasha, Xueyi and March at E6 3. Normal players tend to spend their TBPower to upgrade multiple characters from 4* to 5*, which hinder their progress at finding a good relic piece when relics hold a lot of power in them. There are a lot of things you have to do for this type of challenge to work like minmaxing damage for each wave, speedtuning for each units which requires a ton of resources to put into. Also having content clearable for F2P doesn't mean the game doesn't have powercreep. Having the last few Destruction characters (from Blade to Jingliu) in which the later one visibly stronger than the previous is powercreep. Conclusion: Yes, to do this you need work and skill. But the baseline for it is not something casual people (f2p or light spender) can easily achieve.

@@khnh9739 I think you probably notice in the stat section that: - I actually downgrade most of the character down, like running a 1.5k atk serval, wrong path LC on hook, cog on asta, not using DDD on tingyun (which make this much easier), 90/90 crit ratio on herta which is stupid, subDD pela which does no damage. Well to answer your point 1. your have 40+ days to clear PF, I've tried with my friends herta which is E5(and you get E5 herta for free even if you don't pull for gacha once), talent 4/12, Lvl 70, rainbow relic with worse stat - can still hit 30k+ point on first half - This means if you struggling then building these character is not a bad decision now. 2. Asta is fully functional at E4, Tingyun - I don't even use her E6 effectively except the start since herta need only 110 energy for ult. Pela E1-E6 has no different, Herta - you get to E5 for free - E6 dmg boost is negligible tbh. Trailblazer... you get her E6 for free by just playing the game.. an I think you saw her talent level lmao. Serval is buyable in shop and fully functional from E2 (and she appear twice) plus you see the stat right? 1.5 atk... Guinaifen is at E2, Hook.. Does she even contribute here lol. 3. You have 40 day to adjust. this video intention is for you to at least 40k clear side 1 with almost 100% free character - unless you have tingyun. Pela is free, Herta is free to E5, PMC is free to E6 - If you reach 40K on side 1 - you can skip building character for side 2 and play your previously built character and still reach 60k easily. If it cannot help then it's fine - take it as a entertainment video. I still hope that my works can help some ppl out who's strggling or completely lost on how to tackle pure fiction.

​@@RuriGokoI think that other person was was too focused on the builds here. Maybe in MoC, but in Pure Fiction I think the build quality just doesn't matter that much lol. The builds basically only have to be strong enough to kill weak mobs, it's not that hard at all and can be done with zero set effects. Anyone can have good substats if they use rainbow pieces The strategy is way more important, using characters and tricks to counter the content rather than trying to force the "meta" characters. Especially with how strong Memory Turbulence / Cacophany are in this game, it can often be more important to cleverly strategize around them. I think your strategies are always excellent, interesting, and fun to watch. They always demonstrate how strong it is to focus on specific strategies rather than general meta. The first time I tried Pure Fiction I used my Blade since I have really good gear for him, but I couldn't 3 star. Then, I remembered your videos and experimented with using stuff like Herta, Guinaifen, and MC instead, and managed to clear with 3 stars, even with super scuffed gear. I love your videos, hope to see more. Definitely my favorite MoC/PF clears to watch.

The problem with 4* builds mostly is gear. He says the gear requirements aren't high. But even just getting 2 usuable stats and the correct main stat on gear (without sets) and then at least half of the upgrades into these is so much RNG. At least @RuriGoko tries to go with not optimal gear, but my gear still is far worse. 😢

9:45 dang bro. Asta evaporated. Great video btw. Gave me some insights for next PF. I was 100-300 points off on my usual moc teams but got 32k with a lvl60 Herta while slapping all of Dhil's relics on her. And I used Fire TB too which worked well to my surprise.

Hi there.. love your 4 star showcase very much as it made me feel like i have a chance with this game.. 😂 they are also informative as well 1 question thou, as a low spender, can you advice on resources mgmt? I see that your characters are all maxed but with limited rss, which stat should i focus first?

For starter - You need a staple DPS - namely 2 of them ; most tierlist can help you out on that. get them to at least 80/80 both char and lc ; trace to 9/9/9 (or 11/12 if it is 4*) - this is your first priority next is your support, they should be at least 70/80 - Asta is worth at e4+ - Tingyun, pela, bronya, rm, hanya all worth at E0+ - guinaifen at E1+ - Yukong at E2+ ; unless you having DHIL then e0 is viable if you have these support - get them up - Trace 8/8/8 (or 10/12) when you farm for relic and planar : - Focus on what your staple DPS want - go farm that relic dungeon. try to farm for more universal set rather that their bis - for ex if you have jingliu and DHIL as your main dps - then quantum domain is the best since they both can use it - and guard set can be use on every support in the game. -Planar set : W3 or W7 is your best buddy - they have the most universal planar both for support and DPS Stat should be different for each character - Crit DPS do want crit, dotter like kafka only need atk, Spd, Hit rate - Support - just make them fast and tanky. those relic with def% hp% spd or even flat stat all can be used. ^ this is already a huge works to do so, goodluck!

Really nice 4* run tbh, I didn't expect someone to actually clear it with 4* unit and managed to get 40k in first half. Anyway I tried to replicate the same setups but with sushang instead of PMC. Sadly I can't even get past 30k 😔 The problem is in this video all of your characters are all E6 while mine are all E0 (except sushang and herta that are both E4). My herta somehow always had -10 energy since my tingyun is E0, so she can't ult during her turn. Maybe this is to say that some eidolons might have a great impact, which is why I would suggest to show character builds and eidolons at first before the showcase. Or at least mention some notable eidolons that actually have an impact before the showcase. Because for this showcase spesificly, I don't think it is relatable enough/not really replicable for F2Ps that doesnt have E6 tingyun 😅. Still very good showcase tho, I really love these kind of videos since you try to also explain what are you doing during the showcase and nit just plainly showing the run. I'm looking forward for the next showcase ❤

It's true that E6 tingyun is quite an impact for first rotation - which have the effect on the rest of the rotation - If i were you I would suggest to tweak something -> tingyun on DDD -> pela have to skill into ult on first wave (pela is needed on E1 tho. if not E1 this is probably why your score drop so much) -> herta skill into spin - then you reverse all the rotation around having pela on passserby can help also - and about sushang. I think she's not so good compared to physical MC in this specific situation (more SP hungry, no aoe on ult which make the buff less useful) if you somehow having bronya - using her instead of e0 pela or MC is a good strat btw Thank you for your suggestion and your kind comment btw!

I'm planning to build herta as a sub DPS for PF. Which LC is better: S1 geniuses' repose or S5 breakfast? She's E5 with 55CR and 120CD and atk boots

I would suggest you go with breakfast first, until your genius repose reach s3, then switch to that! But if no resource - go for genius repose - it is a better long term investment.

Pure fiction buff, plus when you kill all the small enemy in that side - boss will get a vulnerability debuff similar to echo of war first boss when down. He'll take so much damage!

E1 tingyun - you need to change the rotation around - tingyun ult pela - > Pela ult on first wave, then herta skill into Ult - after that the rotation will align with my run!

You can but it might be risky, since jingliu does drain you teammate hp bits by bits. But if you kill fast enough then you're good. You probably want to use spd jingliu with er rope btw (any off piece er rope is fine)
