Yes please answer that; especially if the woman has hsv2 and the man does not have hsv What is the percentage of passing hsv2 if you take the antiviral and he uses a condom? I’ve had it for 12 years and only get occasional itchiness (no actual breakouts) thank you

It can, as herpes is transmitted with skin-to-skin contact. So, unless the condom covers the whole area where one gets outbreaks, it can still transmit.

Something like: Hi, I was recently tested for STDs, and this came out negative, this came out positive. I have herpes, something that the majority of people have, and if I wouldn't have gotten the test, I would never know because I'm asymptomatic. I want you to know, since I really like you, and if you feel comfortable in moving forward, I would love to discuss what can we do to protect you, as I obviously would never want to expose you on purpose, but there's a chance I transmit when there are no symptoms, but the virus is active.
