I just got my HTA100 and have to say they must have done a firmware change or a fan upgrade as the fan on mine is silent and actually had to turn the unit to make sure it was actually spinning.

Have you given any thought to doing a tube change? I know nothing about tubes, but it seems that there are always better tubes out there.

Tube equivalent I used to replace the supplied 6U1’s & 6F2’s were 2- Telefunken 6AJ8-middle tubes and 2-GE 6U8A-outer tubes; many others brands are available..a simple google search for a cross reference will give other options.

How to change tubes?

Buy the same exact same replacement tube then swap them. Just take the tube out of its socket and put the new tube in. Attempt to replace the tube at your own risk and I’m not responsible for any injuries or damages.
