Thank you. I watched your video first, then I watched some others, then back to yours. I was very concerned about damaging the screen, especially when I found it very difficult to make any progress at getting the back off. But, persistence, and patience paid off. After getting the back off, I followed your video, pausing at each step. Reassembly went well. I was quite pleased when the phone powered up after charging the new battery for a couple of minutes. Again, thank you.

What this video taught me is that if it takes 20+ minutes for a pro to do this with complete kits, then it'll take me more than an hour with a good chance at breaking the phone. SIgh... I missed the good old removable batteries.

Thanks for the video! Following your steps I had my battery replaced in a hour. The phone powered right up with the new battery. My OEM battery had completely crashed without warning. I had left Waze running overnight (You would think it was mining bitcoin in the background). The next morning the phone was dead. It wouldn't power on nor would it accept a charge. My PortaPow USB meter showed the phone drawing only 140 mA when I attempted to charge. Normally it should be between 400-500 mA under normal charging. I bought a replacement battery on Amazon. Search for Bintek. The battery comes as a kit and includes tools. To separate the case I used plastic guitar picks of varying thickness. Start with a thin pick then chase through the opening groove with a thicker pick, then the next thicker pick and so on. Nice starting points are the SIM card and volume button sections. The case will open. But patience, as many have commented, is key.

Used your video for reference while replacing my battery. Thank you it was very helpful. Wasn't to difficult the only things that were a little tricky was the removing of the cover and the battery itself, they are both have glue holding them in place and it wasn't quite as simple as in the video but with some patience I got there. I assume the phone in the video had already been opened prior to this video.

Köszönöm a szuper videót! :)

Good Video worked for me. Taking the back off is difficult. There are small lugs down the sides but it is also glued on. Needs constant gentle pressure with a plastic prying tool or sharpened old credit card. My battery was also glued with two strips of double sided tape needing the same constant pressure treatment. Patience is everything with this job. Hope this helps.

One day before it was raining too much and my phone was a little bit wet in my pocket. Do you think if change the battery it works?
