Android Authority Can you guys start telling or showing us what brightness level your screen is at when you're showing off how nice the phone's screen looks when on? Also, can you specify this setting for your battery life test? Those two factors could be significant to the phone's daily performance and appeal.

Alexandre Lee Papa to be honest , the era of bad horrible phones is truely over , even getting those chinese brands get u some decent specs , bt i do agree , Editors Choice Award doesnt have that value anymore...u can get that award on a 7-11 slurpee as well! if u have an m8 , theres no point getting the m9+ , it feels cheap , n has nothing that stands out , even those boom speakers have been traunced by the nexus 6....their current line up , i can c why thy have been reporting losses...

They need to tighten up their qualifications for a device to earn the editors choice. Lon basically ROASTED this phone in the first 5 min he destroyed it talking about the cheap processor and uncertainty. Then he goes on to make some good notes about the finger print scanner and the boom sound speakers. Then ROASTED this phone again about it's camera. Yet it manages to earn am editors choice. With all these beastly phones coming out this year I can see why a lot of editor choices have been awarded but c'mon

at least on a good note with the hardware and gaming lag, that can probably change based on software upgrades. I remember back in the day with the m7 seeing how it may not fair up against other devices with gaming and not only did those games run well on mine but they even ran well on an HTC Incredible 4G LTE and that device has less then half the specs. so it could be just the software build. Lets see how newer software and kernels work down the road now that we have android 5.1.1

I have my M8 here and still far the best. M9 overheating problems and M9+ graphic lags is the issue so for me, aside from M7, M8 is still the best, although I like the quick responsiveness of the fingerprint scanner! Looks awesome.

Gsam doesn't require root and gives accurate screen on time, what's the point of the full tests if a major component such as battery isn't covered?

HTC should add OIS and and a dedicated camera shutter button to their phone. Also make make the power button better accessible like Samsung has done which they've placed it just perfectly.

Why does every reviewer make the same damn mistake, drives me nuts. Any flagship phone that says it can support 64GB or more on in it's SD card slot is using the SDXC format, which supports sizes up to 2TB. This slot is not a downgrade, it's the exact same one every other phone uses. They say '64GB' or '128GB' or '200GB', because those were the biggest sizes at the time.

It does support microSD cards up to 2TB (at the moment, maximum available storage is 200GB). This is even written on the package.

Can someone let me know whether or not the HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera is compatible with AT&T LTE network? I know a lot of these phones like the M9+ that are never released in North America won't always work with American LTE networks.

***** Brace yourself for a drunk story... We were having a bonfire on the beach and hadn't seen my cousin in 30 minutes. He likes to go for night swims so I went down to the water to find him. Thinking that as soon as I felt wet sand I would stop running and walk. Well as soon as I hit wet sand I was up to my waist in water because there was a small pool that had formed this year at the beach we were at. My front facing camera, power button, tilt sensor, and proximity sensor wouldn't work the next day. I eventually got the use of the front facing camera and the power button but since then it has been acting weird and the battery has been worse than ever.

Most people don't realize that this phone was made for a totally different country therefore it won't have some of the usual things we are used to, especially the processor. I own a M9 and am quite satisfied with it overall, sans the camera lol. maybe I missed it but is this phone water resistant or water proof? I keep seeing shots with it wet. please advise?

I just brought this phone for 3 reasons: 1. Needed an not so common metal body phone [I always wanted to buy an HTC phone, this is my first HTC phone]. 2. Stereo Front Facing Speakers. 3. I was expecting to buy a different phone in my budget , but this did come under my budget with my needs and it is good-looking, so I brought it. Overall the mobile is great, except for Mediatek which lags while playing High Graphics Games. 2K Display looks meh, since I have had greater experience using the Note 4 2K screen. Camera is great if I use the Manual Mode, 4K camera crops the resolution. I'm in love with the BOOM Sounds stereo speakers. My rating for this would be 7.5/10

The M9+ has a full 2TB expandable storage and not 128GB. The information on GSMArena is incorrect. You can check the M9+ press release if you have access to one.

Good review but i hate when companies such as Samsung, LG and HTC do that. They launch a phone, ask for us to stick with the specs choice.. then after launch a revision and say "hey, actually this here is the best we can do for the S6, M9, G4.. Not the one we made you buy as the best we offer". They should stick with the specs choice and then launch a full new phone as Samsung do with the S and Note line (even though the S6 prime who come such as the M9+ is what i hate)

I dropped HTC after enduring the camera abortion on the m7. I never ever want to be dragged through that after buying any top shelf phone. Good to see HTC still cannot get their $hit together. It's not too difficult to figure out what people expect in a top end phone. A top end camera. Fast charge. A high end processor. A great screen. Enough ram to multitasking with ease. They drop the ball on almost every point. So glad I went V10.
