One thing i want to say is don't forget the feature of the Gorilla Glass im just picking up a htc max since my galaxy died the screens on those are weak and prone to cracking.. My old HTC Amaze i loved that phone dropped it a million times screen never barely scratched. Anyways appreciate ya

Excellent review! One question. You said sprint spark, will this phone still pick the old 4glte or is it strictly only 3g and new sprint spark signal? Because I still am rockimg my old EVO 4GLTE and my area is just startimg to get the 4glte towers turned on in my area here in florida. Keep up the great work

Great review as always, think I'm same as you, rocking the HTC One Max to go online, watch videos things like that and use the GN3 and HTC One to do other tasks, but definitely feeling the Max though!!!

What is the life expectancy of the battery, since it's not removable, at what point would a new one need to be ordered for sell installation, I'm great with tinkering so eventually 2\3 years down the road it would need to be replaced? What is your take on this subject?

My HTC one mAx just got here today and I must say.....ITS A MAJOR GO. I will say the fingerprint scanner hasn't given me any problems yet but this keyboard is flawless. The one thing about the keyboard though is as big as it is you still have to push the symbol button or hold down letters to get to the numbers unlike the note which has the numbers on top of the keyboard but other than that it feels great. I'm happy with it to this point.

I passed on the Note 3 I loved the Note 2 but I wanted the htc One but I like You I was used to the larger phones and I compared the Galaxy Note 3 with the htc One Max for about a month and I opted to go with HTC One Max... and I LOVE IT! Yeah that Boom Sound and Screen size and the Strong Battery Power makes me forget the 13 Mega Pixel camera and the S-Pen that I gave up going away from the note series! I am pleased!!!!! Recently got the Note 3 and it shuts down any phone out there. The Stylus is really convenient and sets it apart from any other phone. In addition, for being such a large phone it's super light weight and feels nice & comfortable when handling it. Metal phones look premium but adds a lot of bulk. However purchased a metal gold bumper and now has that classy premium look as well and adds very minimum weight to it. As far as the speakers, yeah it can't compare to the HTC, but if I'm rocking some jams it's usually in my car or on the home audio speaker system. Other than that, normal ear buds are practical for listening to music on a phone. Peace out -Note 3 all day.

Yo Floss I know this is an old video, but ya HTC phone reviews are a good look. I have the HTC one max, and I agree that the Floss factor is crazy. Like you, I have yet to see another one max besides mine. The review on the HTC one M8 was also a good look. Getting my wife one as soon as she able to upgrade. That M5 is a crazy. Great Review! One thing that I found interesting with the One Max is the fingerprint scanner. I heard everybody talking crap about, so I never set it up until a couple of days after I got, I was in class with nothing to do, so I set it up. In the last week, it hasn't worked on the first scan 6 times as of now but then it worked the the second time I tried it. I use my phone alot, and I use the scanner a lot and it works basically every time. I think that a lot of people talk bad about the scanner because they set it up right away. I set it up a couple of days after I got it, and I was used to holding it a certain way and the scanner works great for me.

Floss, I just got this phone now and its amazing. My dad was rocking the HTC One and I was really impressed by your review on it and he got the phone from your review. Now I'm back to tell you that this phone is awesome. It runs butter smooth and the screen is huge and beautiful. If anyone is worried about the phone not having a stylus like the Samsung Galaxy Note phones you can always purchase a high quality stylus directly from HTC if you want no biggie. Also, there is an HTC BoomBass accessory that is basically a sub-woofer to accompany your stereo speakers!

I just got the One MAX, been using it for a week now and like Floss said this phone is a definite go. The screen is gorgeous to look at for movies and videos and the BoomSound speakers are really loud, the build quality is also what makes this phone a major go it looks and feel great to hold. This has SnapDragon s600 processors but it's still plenty fast and performance is still snappy just like the HTC one, overall it's a solid device and I agree with Floss score.

Im in finance and i wanted a phone which i could use in order to use social media to interact with clients whenever i am not home or work since I only use my tablet in meetings outside my work place, my Imac at home. The HTC is almost equivalent to a tablet but smaller just as it is bigger compared to other phones on the market. I forgot that the term "BoomSound" started with this particular handset... It was called "BeatsAudio or Beats by Dre" on the One M7...Many of us, myself included - until about six months ago, do not realize the fact that it was HTC, and not Samsung, that once held the grip on the Android handset market ever since the HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1 - 2008-2009), the first actual Android smartphone...People were pretty much using iPhone, Blackberry, Razr, or still on clamshell before that...Straight up!
