@Darko-kn6il it would be that simple if Ukraine did not receive support from NATO. While Russia does have a larger population, Ukraine is willing to mobilize a larger proportion of its population due to them defending their country, whereas Russia has to be careful of its use of conscripts due to their losses being politically sensitive. While Russia does have the advantage in indirect fires currently, the use of it is outpacing production and the Soviet stockpile that is filling that gap is finite and dwindling. Ukraine has access to the stockpiles of and factories of NATO (but it is at the mercy of the whims of those powers). Ukraine has already shown to be able to strike ammo and fuel depots deep into Russia.
