Shoot! brad, you have taught HTML and CSS for like 20 years at this point. I scroll way back to your first video teaching wordpress is insane. User interface and text editor back then looks super old. Web dev have come a really looooong way. I wonder in the last 2 decades why we don't have come up with a better markup and styling than HTML and CSS. Either way, you are amazing brad. One of the best teacher I have known on the internet. You teach complex subject into plain simple english that every one can understand. It is a simple yet, powerful things to share to people. Thank you so much for all your hard work in the last 2 decades. Happy New Year! Keep it up! Love your videos!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. This February will be 15 years of teaching on KZbin; I can't believe how time flies. It is mind boggling to think how much web dev has changed in 15 years, but then again at the same time it's still just HTML and CSS. Happy New Year to you too!

@@LearnWebCode You were like the OG youtube tutorial for web development. You were there from the start when youtube still wasn't that high quality as it is today. It is amazing how technology evolves, something changes drastically, yet something remain the same like concept of HTML and CSS.

I’m having to use a bought theme for Shopify at the moment and CSS still comes in very handy. Super easy to get into, difficult to master. Great tutorial for beginners, any beginners out there this guy knows his stuff so you’re watching good content here.

Thank you so much 🙏 - and I agree about the "easy to get into, difficult to master" description; it makes CSS almost feel like a game.

@@LearnWebCode my pleasure, you’re an excellent teacher. I know very few people that know how to write good, organised CSS and I’ve worked with loads of devs and agencies over the years. Some definitely underestimate it. Loving your WordPress content by the way just right on the money for me and 2025.

Leading... it's from olde-timey physical metal or wood letters that were vertically separated with strips of...you guessed it... lead. So it would be pronounced, "ledding". Thanks for these videos!

Hi Brad, Is ACF used in Enterprise based solutions? I've heard some devs complain about how it creates hundreds of columns in db that can affect performance over time.

always take pride that you know your html and css by heart.... cause some of the most experienced JavaScript devs out there and even graduates with honors Does not even know that a div tag is not a self enclosing tag and some experienced teachers out there write their css programmatically ... shout out to the creator of svelt and Web Dev Simplified for being guilty as charged. hahahahaha

Hi Brad! In which order your courses should be complete Web design for everyone Become web developer Learn JavaScript Full Stack Git became complete developer
@LearnWebCode
@LearnWebCode Ай бұрын
Hi! I'd say it's a tie between "Web Design For Beginners" and "Become a Web Developer Bootcamp" for the first course to take, but it depends on your goals. The Web Design course only covers HTML and CSS, but for many people (for a school or college class or a job) that's all they want or need. The Become a Web Developer Bootcamp covers a lot of additional topics that you'd need for landing a first job as a developer. The Git course would be a good 2nd course if you've never worked with Git or mobile-first design before. The JS course should definitely come last, as it can be quite challenging just because it covers so many different topics; you'll build a simple web-app from scratch, including user registration, log in, log out, following other users, etc...
