Understandable. I will too, at least to see how it's presented. There are worst addictions ;) Note: Let the "redditors from KZbin" do their thing and hate on your message.

I last coded in 2011, i hqve been working in retail & I'm ashamed I didn't pursue this path. I don't even have a laptop yet but there's no more room for excuses. I'm here to learn. If anyone has anything to point me at to help me learn, please comment.

Hey Kevin! Not sure if that's the place, but I thought I would try anyway. I've been wondering if there is a good way to "catch up" on newer CSS features. I've been developing web projects as a hobby since at least 2011 but for the last 7 or so years my daily job have taken priority. I tried keeping up at the beginning (and even now), so features like flex-box or grid that are somewhat recent are not as much of a mystery. But there have been more and more features in recent years that I would like to learn and master. I do watch YT videos and shorts on CSS often, but would like to delve deeper into some of these newer features. I haven't watched this course so I don't know if that will satisfy this (it is for absolute beginners as well). What resources can you recommend in this case?
@KevinPowell13 күн бұрын
Not sure if there is a good, singular resource. Moderncss.dev is great, even if it's not updated too often these days. The Google Chrome for developers blog has a lot of in-depth breakdowns of specific features. Oh, CSS wrapped 2024 (by the Google people) is a nice rundown of new things with demos and links to more info on all of them! I also started html and CSS tip of the week, sort of for this... Just started it though, so not much there yet, lol html-css-tip-of-the-week.netlify.app/

@@KevinPowell I'll check those sources thanks. Oh, and I do run into your shorts pretty often, which are always useful. That sometimes also leads to full or longer videos by you, that's also a great source for me, so thanks for that.

Lol, I was thinking that guy has to have a more recent html course, and it came out, but 6 days ago damm. Hope that medium and hard classes also launch.
@mmelimahlobo765615 күн бұрын
Hey Kevin is using raw css still used nowadays or we should focus on mastering TailwindCss
@marc411715 күн бұрын
I would focus on CSS first to understand the basics, then Tailwind or other frameworks.

I have spent fair time in css,But just realised that many projects are built with tailwindcss and someone who is looking a job I thought maybe its a requirement just not sure about it

@@mmelimahlobo7656 tailwind clicks extremely fast if you already know CSS

Can you add an audio track feature in your video that provides KZbin.

What do you mean?
@mauriciovargasrincon3368Күн бұрын
@@KevinPowell I think he means having an audio track in another language such as Spanish. You are a very good instructor and our language would be great. Maybe you can put CC in Spanish and have the IA read it to you in Spanish and then upload another language track. Greetings.
