I started learning to code in Feb 2020 (whilst working in a job I hated), got my first job in Feb 2021, and now I'm about to start my second role as a Front End Software Engineer. This was the first tutorial I watched! I've since learnt JavaScript, TypeScript, React and now i'm learning Node.js. It has been the most fulfilling journey of my career so far (I'm 34), and I'm about to work remotely abroad. If anyone is watching this, if you put in the hard work, I guarantee you'll get there eventually

Honestly, this HTML course has taught me so much more than the courses I took in community college. I finished learning this HTML tutorial around the end of March and CSS Zero to Hero tutorial around the end of April. Next is to learn JavaScript, even though I still have still have some basic knowledge from using p5.js back in college, I want to go back I relearn it!

Super informative! I've had an on and off interest in web development for years but I think part of that was due to being intimidated by everything I'd need to learn. Although I made the decision to go full throttle in front-end web development before discovering this vid, you've taught me things I didn't even know I didn't know. I'm pumped for the next step. Off to the CSS tutorial. 😁

Loved this video. I just started studying computer science and we're supposed to build a website as one of this semester's projects, I sent your videos to all my classmates 'cause they're literally P E R F E C T, straight to the point and concise. I was making tests during the video and the only two things that didn't work were the following: - to put a local video on the website. I added my video to the file (I'm using VS Code) and wrote its name.mp4, but it didn't work, the controls are displayed, but the video is not, do you have any ideas why this may be happening? - I also can't display any websites (including giraffeacademy) in the , but the KZbin worked, so idk what's going on. besides those two points everything went very well, thank you for these videos!

You are truly a godsend.

Lol, looking back when I was freakin 14years old, teaching myself coding and what not it felt a little much. Coming back to my roots and going back to basics just to see how far I'm come (I'm like 33yr old currently) but looking back I'm like tripping out how simple simple It is. It just feels natural. I don't know what I was really getting at but for anyone wanting to learn web design or any programming language all I can say is "Just jump right in, learn, listen, practice and over time it'll grow on you almost like breathing, it's just subconsciously instilled in the back of your mind, lol."

Thank you so much for your wise words. I cannot wait to reach the level you are at. Being a beginner, it feels like I have a long way to go. But I would rather have 2 years pass by and see myself knowing how to code rather than the same amount of time passing by and me not knowing how to code by then. That was poorly worded. What I want to say is we all gotta start somewhere, and we will be glad we did

Excellent video! This is exactly how I remember coding back in the day. I along with a few used to run a website for our H.S and it's still running today. We started it in the early 90s when the internet really started to boom and I loved it. Knowing your code is key to spotting errors. I used to use Front Page in Windows 95😂 to do the pages at night then upload them to the server in the morning before school. Brings back great memories ❤️.

I have seen 6 Html basic tutorials in less than 1 months but trust me I haven't found any tutorial like this one.The most important and exceptional thing I founded that you emphasized more on the actual HTML5 tags(like header, main, article etc) which were supposed to provide the developer to make a SEO friendly website but most of the developers neglect it and use DIV tag most of the times. Thank god I found it.I get the SEO freindly info from thistutorial. I was in a tutorial where the youtuber used the div taf everywhere and I got confused and I messed up.After watching this,I got a complete clear view.Bless to find your tutorial.Take my love brother.

You could just use a text editor on android aka your phone 📱 and practice the coding instead of writing it down on book-

Set/2022 I decided I really wanted to become a Frontend web developer and found this KZbin channel and others free courses. Three months later I’m rewatching it knowing everything he is teaching by memory, such a good feeling! Still have lots to learn, but I’m just proud of what I accomplished so far thanks to freeCodecamp!

That was really great, simple and neat explanation given for the entire video. I really liked it. Thank you for creating this video. Mr. Mike's teaching skills are on a different level. A few months ago I couldn't understand what html was when I learned it from my friend but Mr. Mike made it pretty simple for me.

I finished this course. thank you. for anyone reading this, I'd suggest making an experimental website. everything you learn from the video, put it in there. and use comments to tell what each tag does.

Thank you for this tutorial, you are a great tutor. The HTML really looks antiquated, but it makes up for it, in it's simplicity.

I started learning at home like 3 days ago, and i use vscode, the one you recommended would be a little tuff for me since idk a lot about coding, in vscode it changes color and it separate stuff and makes it easy for example yesterday when i was tryna learn just how to add images, tables, spaces in text, there was a code in linking a page to a word
