The line distribution on this one is killing me. Everyone had already said that Mizuki only sings alone or with KAITO, so I wanted to talk about KanaMafu's and Ena's lines here. The most interesting thing here is that KanaMafu and Ena always sing the same assigned lines in the chorus and they don't get traded between them. So, Kanade and Mafuyu are singing (first separately, and then together in the last chorus) "Without seeing it, you can't really understand it, right? It's like the flower of transformation that had bloomed". I think that means that they didn't actually know what happened that day, therefore can't understand what happens to their group now, but they totally sense that something is off and a certain "transformation" is coming (I see it even less as Mizuki's transformation but rather transformation in relationships between all them). Like Mizuki, Ena also only sings alone and with KAITO (because unlike KanaMafu, she knows it all now, and is lonely in her despair caused by the whole situation). Her line is "I can't say anything, but I can't erase it, no matter how ugly my make-up looks like" which is about her not being able to say anything this day even though she wanted to and not being able to forget the truth she just had found out about. The make-up part is something I'm not so sure about, but I guess it can mean two things. Either it's about their fall out with Mizuki as if make-up a metaphor for their relationships or (most likely) that she just cried so many tears that her make-up was ruined, but even though the whole situation hurt her, she still won't "erase" the bond thay have with Mizuki. In other words, it's so mizuover

I think Ena’s line could apply to both her and Mizuki. Like, for Mizuki, it could be referring to how they can’t say anything to make things go back to how they were, they can’t erase what they are, and the makeup being ugly could be talking about their smudged makeup visible in their untrained card, also caused by crying, but it could also be talking about the makeup they put on to create their identity. No matter how ugly their face must seem to Ena after learning about their secret, they can’t erase it, as it’s a part of them.

I think the "no matter how ugly my make-up looks like" line is referencing ena's face in her untrained card reacting to mizuki's secret. I don't think she intended to make that sort of face, she was just in shock, and she regrets it, because now Mizuki is "gone" to her

@@lavenderiris9744 I didn't think about it this way, but this interpretation makes so much sense, considering Mizuki's untrained card and amd the fact that make-up is the sole part of Mizuki's image and identity I just liked the idea that chorus lines of each member reflect their own feelings and thoughts about situation, because, like I said, they never trade lines and always sing the same ones
The keys going down could be referencing their own degradation. Think about it, after the event, Mizuki looks lost and isolates themselves from everyone, exactly as they did in middle school. They’ve returned to how they were in the past.
