It's definitely better these things are kept in British Museum. If they were in China, they would have been destroyed during the Cultural Revolution! I am very happy to see them been taken care of so good. Thanks BM!
Well said! China needs to advance & be a greater nation in the future in all aspects. Then, these Western nations will learn to respect China & perhaps rush to return all ancient treasure to China

虽然都是青铜器,大英藏品确实精美很多

I was there 2 months ago. The Chinese room was quite small and reasonable quiet and one of the least popular when I was there. The main audience there were mostly Chinese and apparently non Chinese were not that interested in Chinese room. The display there was quite ordinary compared to other rooms. The best rooms and most popular were by far the Greek and Egyptian rooms.

that makes me feel better. that means not so many Chinese collections were lost and exported to England as the Greek and Egypt. Kinda interested in the reason why that happened.

@@nannangao7256 I do not agree with you.. It means that the majority of the Chinese treasure which were not rescued in time by the British might already been destroyed during the cultural revolution by Chair Mao in the 60's.

@@erictang4798 The majority of Chinese treasure were stolen during the century war in China not after establishment of people’s republic of China. You heard 60s story but messed up time line

What is Chinese treasures doing in a British museum? Is there no shame in the theft or looting of other countries' relics?

Your liking is merely your personal opinion, you may be fascinated by greek or egyptian displays while others may prefer to see Chinese displays
