No no no he’s still better than most newer releases if well built the current abyss just isn’t suited for him, but for newer characters like itto, but the next abysses and previous abysses xiao is going to top most of them if not all. And if he gets a dedicated artefact set and weapon( pjws is just for aesthetic) he is guaranteed going to be the best character in abyss despite if it’s like the current abyss which doesn’t suit him

ATK, talent level, and Bennet's base ATK is really shaping how much the dmg output will be, and I also use Zhongli's shield debuff wth 4pc Tennacity

For the first team, does Hu tao get crit rate buff from the cryo resonance even tho she melted them? Or she will still get the crit rate buff?

I think it is, but once it's melted the effect is gone, so it's not that convenient

it may be a bit late, but yes, she does get the crit rate buff, but it works differently? it's not the character that's buffed but the damage or reaction in hutao's case. so you won't see extra crit rate when you open her stats

i pulled xiao recently but I'm really frustrated with him. he's level 80, talent 8/8/8, using deathmatch, can only do around 32k with fischl (4pc tenacity) + bennet (4pc noblesse) + sucrose (r5 thrilling tales). the only thing people are suggesting for him are crowning him, leveling him up to 90, but i still have to farm for other characters and don't want to farm that much for him. he has 80 cr/180cd with 1.7k atk (i know i need more but thats the best i can do with the substat) my bennet is level 80 with level 8 burst. is there any other suggestion i can improve xiao's damage?

My Hu Tao deals 90k on charged atks so I wasn't very much impressed with yours, but what did leave an impression on me was your Xiao's remarkable dmg without Jade. I guess 2.3k atk really pushes him over the line.

I'm currently sitting with around 50k-60k charged, with Zhongli and Yanfei TTDS (pyro reso) and it doesn't seem to be enough.. mind if to tell your stats and weapon?

​@@eviez6205 C0 w/ Homa, 60/250, 4-piece shimenawa, 300 EM, 40K HP. I run her both in double geo w/ xq and double cryo w/ xq, melt deals more dmg with the currentamount of EM I have. I use CW set w/ double geo comp (better AoE). You can easily push 70-75k if you just switch to Shime at 50/215 CR.

4pc crimson is the best slot for hu tao, but 4c shimenawa is usable, tho for me it's better to minmaxing the ratio with 4pc crimson

The most thing i regret doing in my life Is pulling on the staff of homa instead of getting C1 for hutao And i ended up losing two 50/50 on the weapon banner and couldn't get staff cuz i had no primos left So nobody should pull on the weapon banner it's a scam 100%

Dragon's Bane is better if your playstyle is around her vape charged atk, Deathmatch is better for melt burst nuke dmg

@@miberr6037 Hu Tao can heal herself, and Xingqiu can heal a bit but that's enough, Rosaria and Sucrose just switch up for skill and burst. So there is no problem. I uploaded my 12-3 gameplay with this team.

It's easier to build with blackcliff, but the passive is bad while fighting with bosses, and lithic is better than blackclif if you're pairing xiao with liyue's characters

@@soreal156 not rlly tbh. all u need is any decent electro application (lisa works!), the phys dragonspine claymore that’s free then the artifact pain and other mats. she’s more flexible for weapons and team comps than xiao imo. i have eula rn and just waiting for xiaos rerun, but she was way easier to build.

kinda, his best four star weapon is blackcliff pole because of the crit dmg stat. if you dont have enough starglitter or you dont wanna purchase the weapon, you can go for favonius lance or prototype starglitter from the blacksmith but you wont do a lot of damage from those 2 because their main stats are ER, so you'll have to have a good balance of crit from your artifacts
