I'm curious about how he determines the coordinates of Mars. Isn't that a metric system designed by humans? There's no recorded history of such measurements before. I mean, I could argue that my graph's '0' actually corresponds to 2 (a translation along axis 2), for instance. You see my point, right? How could he accurately pinpoint the coordinates of what he's supposed to remote sense if he doesn't establish a reference point for '0' first?
