I was standing at the right hand side of the stage. Can only saw him from the big screen at the beginning, and was wondering where he was. Then he flew out from the crack. I think I forgot to breath. He just gives you everything in his performance.

The stage design of Mars concerts this year is really gorgeous! I read somewhere it was made by the same team, who was responsible for the Olympics ceremonies stage designs.

He has (because he still has 3 concerts in Changsha coming) a support at the back and a belt around his waist. Mars 2021 represented a Mars village. This year's concert represents a Mars city. The concept of those Mars concerts is his own. Moreover he is the general director of these concerts. I think that he's very lucky not only with musicians he's playing with but also with his team arranging everything (e.g. planting a lawn in muddy Hangzhou or sprinkling the audience in boiling Wuhan). And that stage costed him more than 10 million in USD.

Indeed this performance was jaw dropping, what an amazing opening of the concert, I was there too, just came back! 🤩🤩 On top of his music studies, HuaHua has also studied stage design and lighting, all his performances are deisgned by him, even early on like in Singer 2018. Since this year, he looks more comfortable with his body and actually dances a bit with his new songs, before he didn't like to dance but always had body movements designed to each of his songs, and as someone commented, we know which song he's singing just watching his body movements without sound. This concert was amazing, from Hua's singing, his music, his costumes, he changed 5 or 6 times, the stage and specially his Martian fans attitude! ❤❤❤💯

Hua Hua just draws you into his aura...he once said that when he opens his eyes, he does not see the audience, because he is so much in the song, what you see from him is what he is feeling. The staging and Hua Hua is incredible, what a powerful piece.💗💗

He embodies the Persona he requires for each different performance. He BECOMES the character he has in his mind, and acts it out for us. This is.. MAJESTIC. Keep wishing they'd put out a Professionally shot version of this. It really deserves it.

After years of only seeing him on videos, I was feeling so blessed to be able to experience this live. The feeling is incredible! I agree with what you said. Hua Hua's body reacts to the feeling of the music. In fact, I think most Martians would be able to identify a lot of songs with the sound turned off just by his body language. I was a bit worry too because of the strong wind may blew his off the little platform 😅. When HuaHua performed, it was a complete show. He left nothing out to put across the meaning/massage of song for the fans to enjoy and interpret. ❤ Music and him are one unit. That's why his dance was so unique because it came naturally without practise.❤❤❤

Thanks for another great reaction Fil ! I think you have it spot on when you say that each song triggers an emotion within him. Hua Chenyu lives each song as he performs it. He has said in interviews that he puts himself into a kind of headspace for the songs, and that some are more difficult for him to perform than others. I guess that may be why he structures his set the way he does to ease himself out of some of the more "emotionally difficult" pieces. Thank you again 🌺🌺❤

If you watch Hua's perfomances back from "The Next" show, "Singer" 2018, 2020 then all Mars Concerts each costume designed very much goes hand in hand with the song. Watching Hua's concerts from 2019 till now the audience have also benefit to watch the best fashion show ever with exceptional stage designs. I feel we are swimming in the aesthetic world. I hope there was safety harness, it looks soo freaky. How can he sing and act like he’s standing on flat ground when he’s 20 ft in the air. I’d be having a heart attack even with a harness

Not 20 ft - 20 meters that's approx. 65 ft.

There must be safety harness otherwise the government concerned will not approve the concert. Hua Chenyu did wear safety harness when decending from the very top of the stage in Mars Concerts in 1) 2016 Beijing 2) 2016 Shanghai 3) 2017 Beijing 4) 2018 Beijing Bird Nest
