Ok so this song has made me literally fall in love! Thank you to each and every one of you that has led me to this song! I cannot tell you enough how overwhelmed I am by all of your feedback so far!
The tones Hua Chenyu uses throughout this song have captivated me!

When you get stuck in with a singer like Dimash, Zhou Shen, or Hua Chenyu, it is always worthwhile to research about the person, their life, and the songs they sing. The backstories of the songs and the person makes the listening experiences even richer. Hua Hua once said in an interview that when he sigs, he does not see the judges, the audience, or his surroundings. Often in his songs, at the end of a song, you will see him take time to come back out of his mind world and recognize his current surroundings. That is special.

I think I'll never cease to be blown away by this performance, Child is such a beautiful and poetic song. HuaHua uses his voice as an instrument, he says his voice is just as important as the bass, drums or even the little sound of a triangle, this is why he will adapt his singing to any music he will sing. I felt just like you when I discovered Hua and with him Chinese music, I never imagined before that I would like it so much, but you have to know that Hua Chenyu is one of the very top Chinese artists, he gathers a slew of awards every year and his last album sold an overwhelming number of units. Just love how you really appreciate Hua’s talent. Hua has one of a kind voice and hard for many to pinpoint how to describe his voice. You are right about not having to have to have the lyrics to just enjoy his beautiful voice. But as some commenters mentioned, a few does have to have them. You can always go back and check or reread later as sometimes; especially when he raps, it’s hard to keep up with lyrics,

So happy that I listen to this as my first one for today. I called it a flip on his falsetto. I love the flip. He had it first on Ashes and applied it here. There are songs of him that required lyrics but some you don’t need. 7 personalities you can switch the captions off if you want, the title said it all. Ashes... lyrics are important. This song "Child" was the first performance i ever heard with Hua Chenyu, his really captivating and his really great. And since then i watched all his performances and everytime i watched him, he never failed me to amazed, mesmerized, surprised i can't stop listening or watching him he really got me. And i love him more. Not only that but his really humble, kind hearted, sweet, thougthful, soft-spoken, loves animals and childrens too. And his like a child so adorable. Yeh I was.. Ill keep playing the vids till the end but I didnt really want to have to make people watch non singing parts but I guess if I let it happen once I can go from there. I just dont want to have to end up removing something that is not needed as cutting up bits of me is against what I want to be doing. @@DancingCoder his 90000 2018 concerts tickets sold out in less than 2 minutes. Having to have so much fans, he actually cannot escape criticism from his way of singing. There are plenty of people in China that cannot accept him or trying to discredit him. His way of handling the, is writing songs about it. Only on stage he can express himself. Off stage he is a shy guy who is not good with words. He is so much better now though. That’s where his song ‘I don’t care’ and ‘Aliens’ comes from. You can watch ‘I don’t care’ from singer 2018.

When he’s nervous he will need time to find the appropriate words to convey what he wants to say. I love him when he became mentors on The Coming one too. I think that also improve his skills. And Ace vs Ace definitely my faves. He opened up more after that. When I wrote about not good with words, I was referring his early year from debut time. Have you seen his earlier interview? There were few silly one. And few serious ones. All I love to watch and rewatched. I should have made that clear actually. 😅😅😅
