Imagine most people in China don’t even use KZbin. 9 millions views on KZbin are from people from abroad watching it. He is extremely popular in China and unfortunately he doesn’t give concerts outside China, but he could give them but I don’t know why he doesn’t. Maybe he doesn’t realise he has a huge fanbase outside China as well. In his concert in 2018 he was in Bird’s Nest with 90.000 seats (and it was multiple concerts on different days). I honestly don’t know the most main platforms chinese people watch these shows but can you imagine how many views it would have lol 😂 just hope he will one day give a concert in Europe, so I don’t have to travel so far This shows is for professional singers and 90% of them are already extremely famous and it’s very popular in China but also in Asia. And also watched by many people outside Asia of course, but most of them would be chinese people because English subtitles for the full episodes weren’t uploaded that fast back then.

because according to him quality over quantity, if he did concert in other countries, he is certain his chinese fans will travel to watch it again so he thinks what's the purpose of doing so many concerts. it's true that his fans always buy all the concert tickets of different dates if he's having concert 2 or 3 days in a row. but i guess because he's also busy enough coping with his work in china alone, that's why he doesn't promote overseas. he also always take his time to rest at home and compose songs

There are a lot of performances from The Singer worth checking out, I found a lot of great artists thanks to that show. Some of my favorite Huahua performances is his version of Flammable and Explosive (same as in Youth With You) and Fake Monk which is... magical.

Hua Hua is amazing! He has performances on 2018 where he came in 2nd to Jessie J and also 2020 which he won. Also Singer 2017 which features Dimash. You will NEVER believe anyone can sing like him. SOS by Dimash.

perhaps the reason there are many dislikes is the fact that he is not widely accepted... This has to do with the mainstream China's view on art, which see his high notes as unnecessary and dislike him for being 'dramatic' haha they really have not seen some of the rock bands out here. I was nearly born there; so glad we moved :)

Hi Martin, so glad you discovered my favorite artist, Hua Chenyu. He's one of the top performers in China right now. He's so versatile, you never know what he's going to sing, rock, rap, ballads, reggae, he's such a geniius musician, he can do anything! The Singer is a friendly competition show among professional Singers, it's a very renowned show in China. Hua participated in 2018 and ended up 2nd, he participated again this year and won. In 2018, the rules were singers could only sing 2 of their songs and the rest were rearrangements or covers. In 2020, Hua sang only his songs except one cover. Therefore, it would be great if you could react to all his performances in 2018 and 2020. Please react to Child, Qi Tian, etc. Make sure you have Enlish subbed versions as his lyrics are always deep. Looking forward to your next reaction, take care! Other singers participating in both shows are all very good and worth checking!

Eventually he won first in the competition and that's how he started his career in the entertainment industry, and that was also the first time his dad praised him. He was so happy that he claimed winning first is nothing compared to his dad's praise. Music has let him expressed his emotions and healed himself along the way and he's a man of deep thoughts like a philosopher, he is also spiritual and does meditation. Once a tarot card reader and a monk read that he's a spiritual man like a hermit, he sort of agrees n then declares he ever thought of becoming a monk back then when he finished high school, n all the fans were shocked LOL 😂🌸🌸

@@MartiNReacTs yah so sad right, he was so deprived of his dad's love (the only parent he has when he was young, who anyway was always unavailable due to business), and his mom left him since he was 2 yrs old due to divorce. Though when he was 8 yrs old he got a step mom, but he had already suffered from insecurity, autism and all, and it was through creating songs when young that he managed to salvage himself. He had a baby sister when he was a teenager that he doted on, during his 1st concert he brought his little sister around prior performance, and his little sis is now a pretty and sweet looking teenager. 🤗
