Bought the X99TF back in January 2020. That order did not arrive after almost 3 months, so I cancelled it for a full refund and reordered another for $100 in late March. The second order arrived within 3 weeks. Then, around June 2020, the first one mysteriously arrived at my door. In the end, for $100 I received two X99TF's. Coupled with two E5-2678V3 which were each purchased on eBay for $85, I have two excellent platforms. With 2x 32GB of cheap REEC DDR3 1600 and Miyconst's turbo-unlock...voila!

you're not getting PCIe bifurcation, ECC RAM, quad-channel or more then 4 RAM slots with those...ppl buy these boards to make cheap DIY servers, not gaming rigs...

@@xjsabcd2947people using grey market motherboards are not normal consumers. homelabbers are not normal consumers. yet we do need three pci-e ports for 10gbit NICS and HBA's, doubly so on a board that requires us to have a gpu. most normal consumers don't even have a x86 computer anymore. maybe a old laptop or desktop they only use when their phone is broken.

Thanks for your videos, there's always valuable information about these Chinese mbs. Quick question: I don't understand if the temperatures detected by both HWinfo and HWMonitor are realistic: TMPIN6, TMPIN8 121°C (!). (E5-2690 v3, Latest Bios 09/16/2022) should I be concerned? :)

No, these are just missing temp sensors on the motherboard. You shouldn't be concerned about these values but you should ensure good motherboard cooling.

Hi Miyconst, i just wanted to ask if you tested or have any idea about the Machinista MR9A-PRO, i know that you tested MR9A. but do you know if MR9A-PRO is good, or should i get the MR9A instead.i heard that MR9A-PRO is a copy of some Huananzhi board. i cant remember which one.

As far as I can see, these two are identical, but the Pro version has better appearance and active VRM cooling.

Well, I think installing graphics card in second PCI-e slot is more convenient, because this way you don't need to remove it in order to access all NVMe ports :P Not working RAID is a bummer though, considering that Q87 is a desktop but yet still an enterprise class chipset.

E5-2667 V3 is not compatible with DDR3, you need E5-2666 V3.

It sounds like you have got a defective motherboard. The PCI-E X16 slots are connected to the CPU directly while the network adapter is connected via chipset, so it shouldn't interfere.

Most likely you can, but I can't guarantee that since BIOS compatibility may be broken within different revisions of the same motherboard.

Pretty confident that you can adjust the timings on the Q model, not sure about the memory frequency settings though. AFAIK you can adjust DDR3 speeds on a Huananzhi QD3 mobo (a ddr3 version of QD4), which also has a Q87 chipset (like the one in a TF-Q model), so maybe you can do the same thing on this board?

It's about 50-60 watts when using a 60hz 1080p monitor. The monitor power consumption is not added.

gee- - I don't see well (double vision) and bought it thinking it was a TF. Would you trust it with the 140 watt TDP cpus? Mu Jingsha Dual F2 motherboard ran for a few days ok in single channel mode. Then I installed as missing I/O shield. I was reasonably careful but not the F2 will not boot. The green RAM slot lights all flash ;^( - maybe "jingsha" should translate to "dog poop"

As long as you have good airflow over the VRM, it should be fine. JingSha has unfortunately degraded in quality a lot.

good afternoon I bought huananzhi x99 TF motherboard beautiful board, I had problems with ssd m2 my ssd m2 netac 5000 gen 4 4x does not recognize on the ssd m2 pci express 3.0 4x motherboard slot it only recognizes on the 2 second ssd m2 pci 2.0 4x slot, maybe my ssd is incompatible with the first slot of the motherboard because it doesn't recognize in the first slot, it only recognizes in the second can you help me?

I had problems with this motherboard matched with R5 3600, but I solved it by mounting an extra fan with direct airflow over the VRM zone. It should be able the same with R5 5600X.

I can overclock xeon 1650 v3 with x99 tf-q, but we only use intel xtu to overclock, cannot overclock in bios.
