Huawei Mate 10 Lite Review - Premium Midranger!

Bought this phone 3 days ago (my first Huawei, had only Samsung for the last 10 years) and this are my real first impressions about the phone : - Built : quality & strong 10/10 - SD Card & 3.5 mm jack 10/10 - Screen : Color & contrast good 9/10 ( you can see it`s not amoled ) - 64GB + 4 GB Ram 10/10 - NO Fast Charge ( it takes around 2 hours for a full charge ) 1/10 - Camera : Good but NOT Great 8/10 Selfie Camera is OK 7/10 - Can`t hide the Navigation Keys at the bottom of the screen 1/10 - 18:9 screen with no rounded corners (no loss of image there) 10/10 - Battery : i was expecting more, it is average, NOT great 8/10 - Gaming : wasn`t expecting this good performance from a mid range phone, a big fat 10/10 - Fingerprint : very very quick & accurate 10/10 - Face unlock : very quick (didn`t work with photo, couldn`t trick the phone) 10/10 - Sound : bottom speaker it`s average 6/10 audio with 3.5mm jack - nothing special, good 8/10 - RAM management : above expectations 10/10 - Wi-Fi & 4G+ : No problems there, good speeds for download and upload 10/10 If i would compare this phone to my brothers S8+ i would give this one a SOLID 8/10 Compared to other mid range phones that i tested before buying this one, i would go with a SOLID 10/10 In conclusion, i would recommend this phone to everybody, and with a price of 300 Euros in Europe (Sim free), IT IS A STEAL !

You say that testing your camera on a cloudy day means the lighting is bad. But in fact, cloudy means better lighting. From a photography and cinematography point of view at least. Sunny day means harsh light, sharp shadows and terrible contrast (as one part of the photo might get overexposed and the shadow side is underexposed). But for a testing pov it would've been better if you had both weather conditions. So you got a point there.

You are right. I always prefer cloudy days to shoot my videos as I love soft, even light. However, phone cameras tend to capture more detail and perform better overall on sunny days as these small sensors need as much light as possible. I understand what you mean and you are right!

1 model sometimes have 3 names, one mgiht be named honor omethign and the next may be named huawei something and they make a china version without google that is named honor or huawei something which means 3+ of same phone and they spam 20 models per year!!!

Wassup soo this is my 4 day of using this phone and i can say that its great the screen is great performance is great gaming well because of the big screen in some games im geting 30 fps constantly but in future that will be fixed camera is again great i like it and cost of this phone is 350 euros in serbia and is it worth YES IT IS sooo if ur thinking to buy this phone then buy it because you will not regret it EDIT this phone have 8 cores and again performance is great if ur wondering if u can like multitask yeah u can its great it feels smooth but if u have bunch od apps and ur playing one game well there are going to be some framedrops but after you close some apps then its going to be normal

Another excellent video, thanks! This phone looks great, but being one of (probably) hundreds of great midrange Android phones, it doesn't really stand out to me. Since I moved from iOS to Android about a year ago, I'm pleased with everything but the over abundance of choices. I feel like I need to buy two dozen phones to determine what's truly "just right". I'm looking for great price, solid midrange specs, and a large OLED screen. So, in my case (as with many other people), the best choices seem to be last year's flagship phones, not this year's midrange phones. For example, the LG V20 covers most of my wants, and can be had for as low as about $325 right now. I could be wrong, but I think that's a better deal than any just released phones at the same price.

Python I really want to buy the Huawei mate 10 lite but I wanted to be sure of a few things. I hope you can help me with that. How is the (front) camera? I really want a phone that is not that expensive but makes good pictures. Are the pictures really that bad in the dark? Also, how long does the battery last? Some people say that the battery could be better, but it does have 3430 mah. Without the fast charging, how long does it actually take to charge? The review is great as always! ;) But... Why testers always point out that low light camera performance is worse than day light? Every single phone shoots less detailed images at night or in dark environments. It's just simply natural. Hearing/seeing this self-evident fact in all smartphone tests is very boring and pointless...

Gaming not good on mate10 lite. You have to lower video quality settings to play heavy 3d games. When using social media and browsing, this phone is really good and really fast. Plus it has great cameras. Really vibrant and sharp. Its display is big and HD
